Ozzy / Grand Lux / CC Deville in the news
Duece and Domino Tag Team vs. Ozzy Osbourne and Zakk Wylde
Ok, not really, but those of you staying in tonight, be sure to watch WWE Smackdown on the CW network at 8 P.M. EST.
Ozzy Osbourne will kick off his 2007 world tour when he performs two songs on tonight’s episode of The CW’s “Friday Night SmackDown” at the sold-out 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore. Osbourne’s new song “I Don’t Wanna Stop”, the first single from his upcoming “Black Rain” album, will also serve as the official theme of WWE’s May 20 “Judgment Day” pay-per-view, two days before “Black Rain”’s worldwide release date.

GRAND LUX: ‘Carved In Stone’ U.S. Release Announced
Ulterium Records (Sweden) and Nightmare Records (U.S.) have
inked a deal for the U.S. release of the “Carved in Stone” album by the Norwegian heavy metal band GRAND LUX. The CD, which was released in Europe by Ulterium Records on January 26, will be distributed in the U.S. by Nightmare Records beginning on June 6.
GRAND LUX drummer Arild Ropstad comments on the U.S. release: “We’re really happy about this deal coming together, especially since we’ve gotten such great response from overseas since ‘Carved in Stone’ was released. There are plenty of ’70s and ’80s rockers over there, and we are pleased to bring them an album that we know they’ll like!”
“Carved in Stone” will be distributed in Canada through Fontana North, and in the U.S. through Navarre, Century Media and The End.
Those of you unwilling to wait can get this from CDInzane today! I picked up my copy of this disc a few weeks ago. You can read the review here!

SUPAGROUP To Release New Album, Fire For Hire, On September 25th
SUPAGROUP are set to release their new album, Fire For Hire, on September 25th.
Anchorage, Alaska natives and brothers Chris and Benji Lee are back with some of the best pop power chords and rock n’ roll anthems yet with the support of rhythm section heavies Leif Swift and Michael Brueggen.
Produced by Kevin Shirley (IRON MAIDEN, AEROSMITH, BLACK CROWES, H.I.M.), Fire For Hire is the band’s debut for the new joint venture between Foodchain Records and Merovingian Music, Ltd./CO5 Music with distribution by Caroline/EMI.
The album contains 12 blistering tracks of Supagroup’s trademark blend of bluesy, ballsy rock, including ‘Jailbait’, ‘Born In Exile’, ‘Promised Land’, and the first single, ‘What’s Your Problem Now?’, set to hit radio in July.
“This album has two kinds of music,” declares Chris Lee, “rock and roll.”
‘Jailbait’ and ‘Let’s Go (Get Wasted)’ (from the Rules album), are also featured in the upcoming movie National Lampoon’s College, out in September through Lion’s Gate Entertainment. The band performs both songs in a live concert segment in the movie that takes place in their adopted hometown of New Orleans.
