The Hitcher – DVD Review
If you want to watch a pretty good thriller type of movie, check out the remake of the 1986 film, The Hitcher.
The film features One Tree Hill’s Sophia Bush, Zachary Knighton and Sean Bean (as the hitcher).
This movie is the story of two young twenty somethings on their way to a Spring Break destination. Along the way they encounter a stranger with a broken down car that needs a ride. This ride turns their lives into a total living hell over the next 80 minutes or so.
I have only vague recollection of the original movie, but this was a pretty exciting roller coaster ride of a film. If you ever want to see a film that will keep you from picking up a hitchhiker, this would be the one. This film is in the vein of Joyride, and Breakdown. It will keep you on the edge of your seat.
It is a good film that is worth renting!
