Bullet – Heading For the Top (Release Year – 2006)

bulletBullet is a Swedish Metal band that sounds like a cross between Brian Johnson era AC/DC, Accept and maybe a little bit of Saxon.

This is a five piece band led by singer, Hell Hofer, Hampus Klang on lead guitar, Erik Almström also on lead guitar, Gustav Hjortsjö on drums, and Adam Hector on bass.

If you can get past the gravelly voice of Hell Hofer, you are probably going to like, and possibly even love this band. The guitar work on this disc is superb and it rocks hard, from beginning to end. Heading for the Top sounds as if this was a lost disc from the NWOBHM era.

I have spun this one a few times now, and I don’t think there is a bad song on this disc. Check out the video for Heading For the Top, if you like what you hear, you will like this disc a lot.

If you like Bullet, you can check out more of their songs at their myspace page here. This CD is available at CDBaby.com. Go get it!
