A Drug Fueled War Raged Inside Nikki Sixx

NSixxWhen Nikki Sixx sat down to write /The Heroin Diaries, a deluge of emotions rushed in. Nikki and Sixx:A.M. drew on those emotions and experiences from his diary to write the soundtrack to the book.

In episode 3 of the Heroin Diaries Podcast, Nikki explains that the honesty and drug-induced warring factions that raged inside him helped to inspire all of the tracks on the album. The Heroin Diaries soundtrack will be released August 21st with the book to following on September 18th .

  1. A young man screaming for love. To be loved, that is all. Not a bad person. Just unloved therefore eager to destroy himself as it is what Nikki probably felt: not being good enough, lovable enough, not important, deserving bad treatment. This book mooved me so hard, I am haunted since I have turned the last page…I cannot get away just yet from this amazing story. So much talent.

  2. To my dearest Nikki. You’re book has really inspired me, I’ve been a hard-core MOTLEY CRUE Fan/Addict since the early 1980’s and I never knew you were so messed up and hooked on drugs. I felt every ounce of your pain as you were so openly and honestly pouring your heart out to the world. That takes a lot of guts to be able to share such personal stuff, and I love you more now than I ever have. Please include New Zealand on your next worldwide tour. Keep rocking us all for years to come, GOD BLESS NIKKI SIXX

    • I wanna buy all the Sixx AM albums and support them-i love em lots. I really wanna meet Nikki!! I love Motley Crue even though they were before my time. I hope to get Nikki to autograph my Heroin Diaries book when I get one. I see Nikki for who he is!!!!

    • I agree!!!!! Nikki is awesome!! He’s been through alot and realized he was slowly killing himself and quit the heroin. Nikki is my idol, because he never gave up. I love Nikki!!! Plus he’s pretty hot for someone older than my dad… :-)
