A couple of weeks ago, I was in the state of New York for a week, including a day in the big apple. We had a lot of family related activities, including a wedding to attend on Saturday.
Amazingly, I found out that the little town called Woodstock was a short drive away from our hotel. Needless to say, this rock fan had to seek this town out, and check it out.
For those of you that have never been there, Woodstock isn’t the place where the big 1969 Music Festival was held, but it is where the festival’s namesake came from. It is a sleepy little town, full of craft shops, t-shirt stores etc. It is a fun little place to check out on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
We came across this center court area where there was twenty to thirty people drumming together. You can see this in the video below.
Woodstock was definitely one of the more unique things we saw on our trip!
