Halloween stalks Russell Crowe
Rob Zombie has proved that he is not only a heavy metal god, but also a horror film master. “Halloween” murdered the box office record for a Labor Day release with $31 million. Rob Zombie not only brought the classic horror franchise back to life, but also used his musical talents to make a killer soundtrack to accompany the release. The Halloween soundtrack features classic hits from the 70’s like Alice Cooper’s “Only Women Bleed” and Blue Oyster Cult’s “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper.” In addition to the sinister arena rock from the ‘70s, Rob also had some original music created for the film.
Check out the eerie stalker score of “The Shape Stalks Laurie” by Tyler Bates (300, Slither, The Devil’s Rejects) and the haunting remake of “Mr. Sandman” by Nan Vernon.

Stryper - Murder By Pride

It was a good movie. The first half was way better than the second half, which is odd, considering the first half was all the psychological impact onto young Michael Myers brain.
The movie got terrible reviews across the board, but I thought it was solid. It was good enough to do the original justice, while also giving a new spin on the classic film.
It was’nt meant to be a remake as much as a reimagining.
