Sweet F.A. – The Lost Tapes (2007)
In case you haven’t heard, Indianapolis rockers, Sweet F.A. have reunited in 2007.
Yes, that’s right, the same band that brought you Stick To Your Guns, and Temptation is back in action.
The Lost Tapes is a collection of tunes that were intended for release long before 2007 but have not seen the light of day until now.
I have to admit, that I didn’t have a whole lot of expectations for this record. I didn’t enjoy the last record Temptation as much as the debut effort, and was a little leery about this one.
I can proudly say that this disc has exceeded all of my expectations.
This is a fine collection of tunes that in many ways surpasses the debut effort, Stick To Your Guns. My only complaint is that this disc is missing the slick production of the first two releases. That shouldn’t keep you from picking up a copy of this record. It is worth the money, if you like hard rocking, party tunes. The Lost Tapes is the kind of release that makes you want to throw a party, and crack open a few beers.
Some of my favorites off of this record are Just One Kiss, Cheap Wine and Gasoline, and Dancing By The Light of The Moon,
You can check out some of these songs at Sweet F.A.’s myspace page. You can buy a copy of this disc at CDBaby.com!
