I really like parts of that album, some really deep bluesy stuff that revisited his early pre-Whitesnake, post-Purple solo albums as well as early 'Snake. The poorer songs were the ones where he "'snaked it up" to match the American oriented sound in my opinion. Rather than a departure from the Whitesnake sound though that you mention Rob, for some of us it marked more of a return to the original Whitesnake blues-rock style. I have the Restless Heart Album, and it clearly says Whitesnake on the cover. Although I thought that album was quite the departure for the Whitesnake sound. According to DC, that one doesn't count.
