Iron Maiden LADMy first choice for the Top Hard Rock DVD of 2008 so far is Iron Maiden’s Live After Death DVD.

In this two DVD set, you get one disc that is a full concert from the 1985 Powerslave tour. This was originally released on VHS several years ago, but I never got a copy of it. This new version, is released in 5.1 Surround Sound. This is the way to listen to Iron Maiden Show!!

The Concert Video is worth the price of admission by itself, but this is a two CD set and you get more.

Disc Two bring you the History of Iron Maiden, Part 2, (Part 1 was on the Early Years disc). You also get the Behind the Iron Curtain Documentary, and Live Footage from the 1985 Rock In Rio show.

All in all, this set is over three hours of Iron Maiden for you to enjoy. You will definitely want to replay these DVD’s over and over again.

Live After Death is a must own DVD release for all Iron Maiden Fans! Watching this DVD Set has me anxious for the 2008 tour. I can’t wait to see Iron Maiden Live again! Until then, I will be watching the Live After Death DVD’s.

    Nice Website,

You’re providing plenty of good information here, keep it up. I also have a DVD website. Perhaps if there’s a chance you could take a look?

    Most DVD categories are covered.

Just like with Shout at the Devil, I have to ask why you dinged it one Flying V. I gave it 10/10 (it was good enough to overcome that Spinal Tap moment during “Rime of the Ancient Mariner”).

I’ve been watching this DVD set since it came out and it’s on my list for best DVD of 2008. It’s going to be hard to beat out for the top spot.

I haven’t seen the Live After Death show since the mid-’80s so it was a definite trip down memory lane.
