Tommy Skeoch Takes a Dig at Tesla

Tommy Skeoch An exclusive track recorded by ex-TESLA guitarist Tommy Skeoch can be downloaded at this location.During his appearance on the February 16 edition of “The Classic Metal Show”, which was hosted by Skeoch and some of his friends, Tommy pulled out a guitar and performed “I Left The Circus” live in studio. The song, which discusses Skeoch’s departure from TESLA in a satirical, whimsical manner, seemed to have a bit more bite to it as Skeoch performed it live.

  1. Tommy is a fucking wanker, there was a time before tesla got signed that Tommy was fun to be around but when the band got a deal he started believing his own press and turned into a fucking ass-hole, he is a pud and his music sucks, the guy cant sing who is he kidding? I have know this guy for 20 years, I really wish he could remember what it was like to be hungry, what a fucking waste!

  2. I still like Tesla a great deal, but for those who say that Tesla is better without him simply need to buy a clue. Tommy was a HUGE part of the band’s classic sound….he wrote the heavier and in my opinion better songs, and was the more identifiable of the two guitar players. Hannon might have been the flashier of the two guitar players but Skeoch had a much more unique style that set him apart from other players of the day. The first 3 Tesla studio albums are proof of that….especially ‘Mechanical Resonance’ and ‘Psychotic Supper’. His solo album although a little inconsistent and unfocused has some great songs and I like the direction. If he keeps building on that and honing his skills he will be someone to listen for in the future.

  3. Keep ROCKIN’ IT Tommy! Tesla is NOT the same without Tommy! Not even close! Listen to Into The Now and then TRY to listen to Forever More… I can’t listen to it. Forever more is a WEAK album plain and simple. And I HATE saying it, (been a huge Tesla fan since the very beginning.) the difference between this CD and ALL the others… NO TOMMY.

  4. TESLA is BETTER WITH OUT HIM…THEY ARE AT LEAST MAKING GOOD MUSIC!

I think Mr. TS needed/needs TESLA instead of TESLA needing him!

  5. HELLO…TESLA is still kicking ASS…EVEN without Tommy S. Dave Rude has done a GREAT job filling his place on stage…and the idea of Dave doing a “TOMMY” hair flip is stupid, was TOMMY the first person to stand on stage and ever flip his hair out of his face?
TESLA most CERTAINLY DOES NOT NEED MR. T.S.! I think it’s the other way around…and that ship has sailed. I wish T.S. the best no matter where his life takes him. I love TESLA’s music with or without him and I’m glad TESLA is moving on too.

  6. Tommy you are the man. Tesla needs you! I have seen them twice since your departure…not the same deal brotha now. I think you would remember me as “Stanton” as you used to say during our TGCL days back in Sac–good luck with things man.

  7. I love Tommy, too. I recently saw Tesla & was reminded how much I
miss him there! Especially when the ‘new’ guy flips his hair the same way you do. Too much coincidence…Tommy, i hope you plan on coming back to Cali. I’ll be there, in the front row!!!!

  8. I love Tommy. He was great in Tesla, but he’s really going to go hungry if the whole album sounds this bad. He’s a great guitarist, but a terrible singer. Tesla is still heading in the right direction and they need his influence to continue their greatness. I hope they can lick their wounds and re-unite.

  9. It was awesome listening to Tommy talk about/play music he’s into, as well as giving some commentary on his time with Tesla. Even mentioned he’s considering hitting the road…hope he wasn’t joking! Glad CMS had him on…he should be a regular; the guy is HILARIOUS!
