Guns N’ Roses Book Author Video Interview
Jason Fisher of The Gauntlet has posted his extensive video interview with Reckless Road: Guns N’ Roses and the making of Appetite for Destruction author Marc Canter. Filmed at the world famous restaurant, Canter’s in Los Angeles, CA, the interview finds the author talking about the origins of the band and their early days on the Sunset Strip. The book is available now on the Reckless Road website where each order comes with a limited edition poster of the band. There are also five different covers available, each with a different member of the classic line-up.

Anyway, yeah LA Guns were one hell of a band !! They had G n’ R beat !
They’re so good, they had to create 2 diff versions of the band !! Good God ladies…get off the Tracii / LA Gunns band wagon. Rob posted this about the G n’ R book.

srry. there original drummer “wouldnt go and travel”
steven adler was never ment to join the band. he was a last seond replacement becuase there drummer would go and travel to other states to get there name popular. They caklled steven only cuz we was down to pack up and leve nexct day. Slash was also never ment to be in guns. He was reject from band till they saw him play at random gigs and took him in. It was tracii band first, he was the one who started it.
Guns and Roses were part LA Guns and part Hollywood Roses.
L.A. Guns already existed before Guns N Roses did. Slash and Steven Adler were the last members to join the band.
Tracii got pissed off at Axl’s antics and quit the band. Slash was his replacement.
um…Guns and Roses was Tracii Gunns and Axl Rose originally. The band should have been called Slash and roses to be correct. Tracii went on to form LA Guns and recently worked with Nikki Sixx in the group Brides of Destruction. Axl is still in hiding, with his Kilt.
