1. People..quit being so critical. I mean ok the album isn’t going to be British Steel or Screaming For Vengeance but how many albums are! I mean their the metal gods. Just to last 40 years and still be able to put out an album and throw a kick as show makes them the metal gods.

2. Angel of Retribution came out of nowhere for me, best album since Screaming for Vengeance, IMO… (Loch Ness, notwithstanding).

   This really does sound like a Spinal Tap outtake, though…. Halford claimed that a lot of his lyrics were meant to be a ‘joke on the straight community’ in an interview in the Stranger a few years back (You don’t want to know what ‘Jawbreaker’ is really about… trust me).

   Maybe this another joke on the fans? Dude’s got a strange sense of humor, to be sure.

   Anyway, looking forward to Iron Maiden’s Bigfoot concept album next year….!

3. If you dont like it, don’t listen! We have only heard the one track. I’ll buy it to check it out.( I relize Taco Bell only pays minimum wage, but hopfully you can barrow some money from your wife to get the CD.) I do admit it sounds a little like “rock oprea”, so what. If you want to talk smack, turn down the Warrent CD you have blaring, and pull your head out!!! The Metal Gods have a place for you. What, you can’t hear me? Turn the Winger down and listen. We have only heard ONE song. Wait till it comes out next week before you talk trash!! Still can’t hear me? To Bad!
