Shinedown is a great band, period. Marcelo, you have good points about the camera angles, but that isn’t necessarily their choice. They do write great songs. Check out their earlier albums. It’s a not-so-mainstream sounding dark sound. Trust me, they’re real, inspired musicians…Lynard Skynard (Van Zandt) Specifically. AGain though, I think you have good points about the camera crap in slow motion.. I think that sucks. lol.

Surprisingly good. I really like this song, I happened to hear it by chance when flipping around on XM Radio and put it on the Squizz channel (which I never listen to).

I don’t have any plans to buy the album though because I tried their debut and found it to be what I believe most modern rock is– completely bland and boring.

If there was a manual of procedures to make a boring “edgy” rock tune, this is it.
Repetitive to exhaustion lyrics, flat riff, mechanical beat and the ever so popular circling camera with all the headbanging and slow motion.. Just like every other band today. Bleah.
The singer has a cool voice but that’s about it.
