I stumbled upon the following videos on youtube by this Oklahoma based glam metal band called Hollywood Harlot. This is an unsigned cover band that also has some original tunes on their myspace page. Check them out!

Hard Rock Hideout 
I have seen these guys numerous times in the Tulsa area, and they kick ass and get better every time I see them. They played a Cancer benefit with Crooked X and Aranda this last Sat. at the Cains Ballroom and the hundreds of people didn’t seem to think they suck…just sayin. Come to a show and see for yourself. They also have a new frontman that does a great job with the audience.
Were opening for White Lion November 11th 2008.
IF your in the area, you should come out and see us for yourself.

We may be young and we’ll take any constructive criticism fans give us. So Instead of bouncing back with insults, I’m just glad people are giving us publicity rather it be positive or negative. 80’s glam rock will never ever come back, and it is a shame that it even has its insignificant spot in music history. Everyone in this band or associated to this garbage should get a life or at least some musical taste.
Yep, I have to agree about the potential. they could turn into something good one day if they stick with it. As the singer gets older, his voice will develop more character and grit which will greatly help their sound. I cringe at how wimpy my voice sounded when I listen to old tapes of my high school bands. these guys deserve encouragement, not ridicule.

Most of the guys in this band are of high school age, so they still have the time to grow into something good. They may not be there yet, but the potential remains…….
The first clue that these guys aren’t for real is that “Hollywood” is in their name but they’re, what, 1000 miles away? Anyway, I listened to “Hollywood” on their Myspace page. The music was better than I expected though…until the vocals kicked in. I bet every large town (and I mean town, not city) has several local bands that would blow these guys away. Terrible.
