Well, as they say...to each his own. By the way...I for one am enjoying the new CD..but then again...that's my opinion...it may not be everyone's. Now, I can't comment on the "amazing return" part (although it is amazing that a band this mediocre would bother returning), but the "truly great band" part is simply an outrageous statement. If you had said "good band," I'd strongly disagree, because frankly they sucked, but even I can allow a little bit of wiggle room for personal taste and the mind-numbing effects of nostalgia. However, calling them "great" is pretty much an indefensible overstatement. They were unoriginal, light and just plain dull. When I was 13 and just discovering that bands other than Kiss were making music, I might have fallen for this (largely because there was a girl in the video for "I Got a New Girl Now" who was, to my 13 year old eyes, pretty hot). But it doesn't fly now and it wouldn't have flown then if I'd simply been exposed to enough music to be able to discern stuff that's worth listening to from stuff that isn't. “An amazing return of a truly great band”
