Am I the only one who thinks this is a disaster? I mean Paul Rodgers is a solid singer with good pipes, but mostly generic (if if he’s one of the definers of that standard hard rock voice). Freddie Mercury was a stronger singer, but more importantly, he had personality (personality goes a long way) that Rodgers cant touch. As great as Queen was in their entirety, continuing to use the name (albeit qualified with Rodgers’ name) is inviting unflattering comparisons.
