New Video – Chris Cornell – Ground Zero
Former Soundgarden front man, Chris Cornell has just unveiled the official video for “Ground Zero.” The clip includes scenes from the ABC crime-drama Life On Mars. The series also prominently featured the song in their October premiere episode. The song comes off Cornell’s upcoming Timbaland produced effort, Scream. The album will be hitting stores in early 2009.
Cornell has also been blogging on his official site as of late. So far, the entries have dealt with everything from a dream he had about Layne Staley to his touring preparation and set list choices. HRH Comment: This is a completely different sound for Cornell. I was expecting something more in the hard rock vein. I am not sure this even falls in the rock category. I am still not quite sure what to think about this.

I wouldn’t consider it rock, but I like it anyway! Cornell has an amazing voice, and I like the rhythm. I’m not crazy about all the dialogue used in it, but it’s still a pretty cool song.
