Remembering Eric Carr
Today is the 17th anniversary of the death of KISS drummer Eric Carr. He past away in 1991 after a battle with heart cancer.
I still remember the day I heard the news of his death. I was in complete shock. I could not believe that Eric had died.
I still enjoy the music that Eric recorded with KISS today. I still have a lot of fond memories of his time in KISS.
The videos below are a small representation of the songs that Eric recorded with KISS. Check them out!
Rest in Peace Eric…..you are missed!!
KISS – Lick It Up
KISS – Heaven’s On Fire
KISS – Tears are Falling
KISS – Uh! All Night

Danger Danger - Revolve
Lynch Mob - Smoke and Mirrors
Outloud! -S/T
Stryper - Murder By Pride

he’s one of the most talented, hardest hitting drummers of all time. His solos entertained me more than any other drummer thereafter.
I also recall sitting on the couch w/my girlfriend,..in ‘91, I was 17…and seeing the report on Mtv about Eric’s death. It’s unfortunate that his death was over shadowed by Freddy Mercury’s death. I personally, have always liked KISS more, MUCH more than Queen. R.I.P Eric !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think “Little Caesar” which Eric sang lead on is one of the best songs from the Kiss 80’s catalog. I still remember exactly where I was and what I was doing the day he death was announced. I was in total disbelief.
