The Heroin Diaries is a collection of diary entries written between Christmas of 1986 and Christmas of 1987 chronicling Sixx’s wild lifestyle, drug addiction, descent into paranoia and depression, and his subsequent recovery. The book includes a whole bunch of amazing black-and-white photographs, lyrics, random thoughts and artwork.

Dude wtf who are you to judge someone. Nikki Sixx is an icon not only for overcoming his drug addiction but for his contributions to Motley Crue. This guy has been through so much and he’s come out in a good place, he published his journal to help other addicts or maybe help people understand better what addicts go through.
I love Motley Crue, but I must say, I find Nikki Sixx to be a melodramatic queen. You can hear it in his song writing and, now, in his book. His “diary”, is an embellished, self-indulgent mess that would be facinating only to the uninitiated and naive. Thankfully for him, there are plenty of both.
