Alice Cooper almost always delivers in my opinion.Unlike the Ozzy’s, Metallica’s, and GNR’s of the world, Alice is still able to put out quality music and always has. Love the guy and his music! Along Came a Spider is a good album not a great one. Brutal Planet is Cooper’s best album of the 2000’s. Along Came a Spider is a good listen, not a great one.

The new Shinedown CD kicks ass, I must agree. I have been listening to The Sound of Madness quite a bit as of late.

I did a year in review and then topped it off with the top five albums I reviewed this year. I had Shinedown – “The Sound of Madness” at number 1. Happy New Year fellow rock dude.

Bob, it doesn’t surprise me that you didn’t like the Motley Crue or Whitesnake disc, but I have gotten a lot of play out of them this year.

Chinese Democracy almost made my list. (Doesn’t it seem weird talking about it now that it’s been released?) Whitesnake and Motley Crue would have been on my 10 worst list had I made one.

Bang! is a great album no doubt about it any Thunder should have this album. I could have had Bang! in my Top 15 easily along with H.E.A.T.’s debut, but there was just so much great music that came out this year it was extremely hard to narrow it down to 15 and unfortunately I had already had my list pretty much completed by the time I got Thunder and H.E.A.T.

I have 7 albums with Rob and none in common with RNRcoastie. That’s the whole point of these lists, to discover more new music. The album on Rob’s list I want to check out is the new Thunder. I’ve been a huge fan of theirs since the beginning and I need to check that out. I think I need to check out all of Coastie’s list but that Talon is already on my want list.

I guess I have to take the shrinkwrap off that new Tesla album because it seems to show up on everyone’s list but mine.
