HIGH VOLTAGE TATTOO – the Book! By Kat Von D Some of you may know I’ve been working on writing my first book for the past year, and I finally got a copy of the final product! It’s so crazy to look through it, and realize that all the hard work has finally become a reality! The book is called, High Voltage Tattoo, and is a window into the world of tattooing through my eyes. I had over a hundred of my clients photographed, and have written personal stories behind each of the tattoos, as well as the Do’s and Don’ts everyone should know about when getting tattooed, Famous Tattoo Myths, an autobiographical section telling you how I got where I am today, How to pick your artist, How to pick your artwork, My Tattooing Playlists, and so much more. In the book, you will also see the tattoos I have done on the likes of Bam Margera, Kerry King of Slayer, My Chemical Romance, Green Day, Anthrax, Alkaline Trio, Eagles of Death Metal, Margaret Cho, Jeffree Star, Jamie Thomas, Steel Panther, Fireball Ministry, Nikki Sixx, as well as some of my never before seen final tattoos on my all time fave clients! I am so beyond excited to show you guys the book, because it was by far the most emotional roller coaster of a project that I put my time, energy, blood, sweat and tears into. I’m so excited to be picking up my copy of your book tomorrow. I live in Ottawa and will be going to the Chapter’s location at the Rideau Centre with my son, its me thats the big fan of you and your work and my son who thinks your outrageously gorgeous. I’m wondering how much time you will be devoting to your book signing at the Rideau Centre Chapters on March 10th. I would imagine there is going to be a crazy number of people going. Especially considering that there are a great many tattoo shops in the area so likely all those customers know who you are and how what a great person you are and what an amazing artis you are. Myself I would love to have a tattoo done by you some day and would absolutely love to party with you. God knows I love a good party.
I have been waiting so long to finally be able to read your book! I have watched you write this book for EVER on your tv show “LA ink” and i know how much HARD work you HAVE put into this product! What i really want to say is Congrad’s on your High Voltage Book!
