1. Wow, a band I love on HRH! I saw Gaslight Anthem last summer and they were great. Their latest album is kinda Springteen (it must be a NJ thing) filtered through punk rock. No frills and all honesty. I interviewed them back in August, I think. Their one of the very best newer bands out there.

2. I included it at HRH just get opinions like yours Johnny. Their is quite a bit of buzz about this band right now, and I was of the same frame of mind as you. I am not so sure it is HRH material either. This is why it is in SINK or SWIM instead of a normally featured video or article elsewhere.

3. The CURE meets The BOSS(?). Not HRH appropriate–not that I don’t have broad horizons, its just too movie soundtrack/ background music, compared to the usual stuff here–and the reason I visit this site.

4. I’m not sure what the response will be here, but their most recent CD is great, this is not the best track by far. Good stuff if you like some of the Boss’s old work. Great lyrics and songs if you give ‘em a try.

5. I’m not sure I’d classify it as hard rock but it is catchy. It has sort of early REM vibe to it…
