Turkey Video #4 – KISS – Let’s Put the X in Sex
Quite possibly the dumbest song ever written by Paul Stanley and Desmond Child is “Let’s Put the X in Sex”. This lackluster hit was on the KISS Compilation CD, Smashes, Thrashes & Hits. Save your money and buy the regular CD’s from KISS. This clunker of a song is not worth plopping down the 15 dollars on this greatest hits CD.
I would rather listen to Music from “The Elder” repeatedly than be forced to listen to this crap. This turkey should have never been taken out of the oven.

Hahahaha, no way! I agree with NickinDallas…This song rules…c’mon, that last verse is awesome. Granted, enough cheese to plug you up for a week, but I can’t get enough. Always loved this song. They should replace Parasite with X in the Alive35 set list!
Sorry, I have to disagree (somewhat). I love this song. I know, I’m biased as a huge KISS fan, but I think X in Sex is a great tune. The video was cheesy, but all of thier videos from the 80s were cheesy.

This song is a guilty pleasure of mine. Never saw the video before, kinda sad I watched it now. Horrible. On an unrelated note, it’s a damn good thing that Gene is such a good marketer, b/c no one would hire him to play (or should I say ‘wear’) bass.
Actually, I kinda like “Music from the Elder.” Don’t think ‘weird KISS album’ when you listen to it… think ‘relatively unknown prog-rock album’ instead. “Escape from the Island” and “I” have stuck with me for a long time…
