Not really! “Unskinny Bop” is such an easy target, as this song features would could be the worst opening guitar riff in the history of rock. Sure Poison had a huge hit with this song, but this is some of the worst guitar work I have ever heard. This didn’t take much creativity on CC Deville’s part. See for yourself below.

Actually, the guitar lick in Unskinny bop is a very horrible bastardization of an excellent guitar lick originally appearing in a track by Lynyrd skynyrd called I Know a Little wich is on their Street Survivors album. check it out and see what I mean.
