The following update was posted on the Dio blog by Wendy Dio:
“Ronnie has been diagnosed with the early stages of stomach cancer. We are starting treatment immediately at the Mayo Clinic. After he kills this dragon, Ronnie will be back on stage, where he belongs, doing what he loves best, performing for his fans.
Thanks to all the friends and fans around the world that have sent well wishes. This has really helped to keep his spirit up.
Long Live Rock and Roll, Long Live Ronnie James Dio”
This is terrible news, and I wish Ronnie James Dio all the best!
Did anyone really think Anthrax with Public Enemy was a good idea? Did this song help give birth to Nu-Metal (shudder)? Does Flavor Flav bring anything remotely musical to hard rock? This Public Enemy cover may have been a hit for Anthrax, but it doesn’t get any airplay today. This song can be found on the 1991 Anthrax album, Attack of the Killer B’s. I doubt you will want to seek this turkey out though.
