Turkey Video # 1 – Warrant – Cherry Pie
If you have ever read former Jani Lane interviews, the second Warrant album was supposed to be called Uncle Tom’s Cabin. The record was already complete, when the label decided it wanted another hit song to add to the marketability of the album. The end result was “Cherry Pie”. A huge hit with incredibly stupid lyrics. Jani Lane himself has said quite a few times that he hates this song, and he was the one to write it.
I can’t deny that the song is catchy, but if you take the time to read the lyrics, you will wonder what Jani was drinking when he wrote this tune. Check out the lyrics and video below.
