Guitarist from King Kobra talks about new project Tunnel!
Dave Henzerling will be the special guest on the Hard Rock Nights radio program January 15-21. Henzerling is best known for his guitar work with King Kobra (as David Michael-Philips) and Big Cock (which also features current Warrant vocalist Robert Mason). He is currently promoting his new project with vocalist Scott Hammons called Tunnel, a heavy-hitting 8-song album that hearkens back to the golden days of 1970s album rock.
Henzerling will discuss the Tunnel album with host JT, as well as the possibility of a new King Kobra record with Paul Shortino on vocals. Henzerling joined Carmine Appice’s Sin City Sinners onstage in December, along with Shortino, to perform the King Kobra classic “Hunger.”
Hard Rock Nights is an internationally syndicated radio program. A full list of stations and air times can be found at http://hardrocknights.wordpress.com/affiliates.

Halestorm posted the following clip on their site today, and it was too good not to share with those of you that might not have stopped by there. The band is covering the Heart classic, “All I Wanna Do Is Make Love To You”. Check it out below.
7dayBinge is set to release their debut album, “7dayBinge” on January 26th and they’re giving away the first single, “End of the Road” for free!
If you’re in Nashville on January 29th then you must attend the 7dayBinge CD Release Party at the Hard Rock Café’s Reverb Room.
7dayBinge releases its debut, self-titled album on January 26. The group includes Todd Harrell of 3 Doors Down on bass, Jon Nicholson of the Muzik Mafia on guitar and vocals, Kenny Olson of Kid Rock’s band on lead guitar, and Shannon Boone on drums. The group came together when Nicholson opened for 3 Doors Down on a European tour. Stops in Amsterdam (during which an actual seven-day binge of some sort may have occurred) found Harrell and Nicholson sitting down and working on some music together (the result of the initial session, the track “Cold Dark Grave,” worked so well that they kept writing together).
Recorded over several days at the Sound Kitchen in Nashville and produced by the band themselves, “7dayBinge” features eight driving, straight-up rock ‘n’ roll tracks (see full track listing below). Originally, the band worked up seven songs for the album, but a rush of creativity and inspiration late in the recording process led to an eighth track, “Good Times,” which clocks in at 10:35 long. “I’m really excited about the Binge album coming out,” says Harrell. “It’s been a lot of fun working with these guys and watching it all come together. The energy is awesome and I can’t wait for our fans to hear it. They won’t be disappointed.”
