Alice Cooper on The Grammy’s Sunday

  • January 29, 2010
  • by Rob Rockitt
  • · Hard Rock Music

Nights with Alice Cooper sent out the following today:

Tune in to see your host with the most present in the Best Rock Album category–alongside Katy Perry! Yes, Beauty and the Beast. (Alice being the Beauty, of course!) Bands in the category are AC/DC, Eric Clapton & Steve Winwood, Green Day, Dave Matthews Band and U2!

Coop’s a Clapton fan, but doesn’t AC/DC gotta win this one?

Tune in to the Grammys this Sunday, January 31st at 8 p. m. on CBS, and your favorite radio mutant, Alice Cooper (and Katy Perry!) will tell you who wins… and look great doing it!

Just seeing AC/DC in the same paragraph… category… with Dave Matthews Band makes me want to vomit. AC/DC should win the Grammy, only the plastic establishment of the Grammy’s will make certain that either Dave Matthews Band or their boring elder clone U2 will win. Alice Cooper belongs in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, (I mean Hall of Shame), where is HIS lifetime achievement award from the phony Grammy board of know it all’s?

Metal Music should just boycott the Grammy’s altogether… it’s just another plastic Hollywood farce.
