LION’S SHARE – Confirmed For GATUFESTEN, Cook Book And More
Swedish melodic metal masters LION’S SHARE is confirmed for GATUFESTEN in Sundsvall on July 8th. Other bands to play the festival include EUROPE, ELECTRIC BOYS, MUSTASCH, DEAD BY APRIL etc.
On July 9th LION’S SHARE will play the ROCKWEEKEND festival with bands like SAXON, DEEP PURPLE, SEPULTURA, KAMELOT, VENOM, TWISTED SISTER and many more.
Before hitting the big open air festivals LION’S SHARE will do a headline club show at BLACK CITY/S2 during the PEACE & LOVE FESTIVAL week in Borlänge on June 30th.
LION’S SHARE is also one of the bands featured in the cook book “Mosh Potatoes – Recipes, Anecdotes And Mayhem From The Heavyweights Of Heavy Metal” that will be released worldwide by publisher Simon & Schuster on November 30. The follow-up to 2007′s “Emotional Coma” was mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren (OPETH, SYMPHONY X, PARADISE LOST, AMON AMARTH) and features guest appearances by SYMPHONY X guitarist Mike Romeo (guest solo on “Behind The Curtain”), and drummers Conny Pettersson (from Earache Records death metal act ANATA) and Richard Evensand (CHIMAIRA, SOILWORK).

That ROCKWEEKEND FESTIVAL looks sweet! C’mon, from Saxon & Deep Purple to Twisted Sister and… Venom! Whoa… that is cool Hard Rock and Metal diversity if I have ever seen it!! Plus, throw in Kamelot too? That is unreal cool stuff.
