Classic Video – Cinderella – Somebody Save Me

I will never forget the first time that I saw Cinderella perform live back in 1987. They opened for Bon Jovi on the Slippery When Wet Tour.  Quite frankly, I thought Cinderella blew Bon Jovi off of the stage.  Bon Jovi was experiencing massive success with Slippery When Wet, and Jon Bon Jovi acted like it on stage.  Meanwhile, Cinderella was the up and coming band, and they were hungry, and they played like it.  The band had a lot of energy, and were awesome to see live.  I have seen them several times since that day, and they have never disappointed me.  I am very excited to see the band play again on Saturday night at the M3 Rock Festival. Obviously, the guys don’t look the same, but they still  sound the same.  To me, Tom Keifer still has one of the best voices in rock.  I am still hopeful that we will have a new Cinderella CD someday.  Hopefully they can work out their contract issues and get it done! Check out the classic Cinderella video, “Somebody Save Me” below.
