Jetboy at the M3 Rock Festival

Jetboy at the M3 Festival 2010

Jetboy made their 2nd appearance at the M3 Festival, and much like last year, the band put on one kick ass show.  This year they opened up the festival on the main stage.  They played all of their new tunes from their recently released EP, Off Your Rocker, including “Going Down Above the Clouds”, “Dogs Gotta Roam”, “Perfectly Wrong”, and several of their classics including “Heavy Chevy”, “High Gear”, “Evil”, and “Feel the Shake”.  After the show, I met up with the Jetboy in the VIP Tent, and got to meet the band’s newest members, Jesse Mendez, and Jes Reckless, as well as Mickey Finn, Fernie Rod, and Billy Rowe.

Jetboy is a great band live.  If you missed them at the festival, you missed out on a great show. They were easily one of the best bands at M3. Jetboy doesn’t get to the east coast much, so you have to take advantage of the times they are here!  Their next festival appearance will be at the Midwest Rock Festival in Wichita, Kansas on Saturday July 24th, with the bands Y&T, Black N’ Blue, XYZ, Twisted Sister, Winger, Bang Tango, Icarus Witch, Toxin, and Kix.
