NEW ALBUM “YESTERDAY TODAY AND TOMORROW” OUT NOW ON SPV/STEAMHAMMER
Irish rockers GLYDER will be featured this Thursday August 26th on the nationally syndicated radio show “Nights With Alice Cooper”. Every Thursday on the show Alice has a segment called “Throwback Thursday” where he plays a song from a new band that has a true classic rock, feel and vibe. This week he will be spinning a cut off of GLYDER’s latest release: “Yesterday Today and Tomorrow”. In addition to playing a song from their new album, Alice will be giving copies of the album on the show’s website. For a list of affiliates that air the show and to enter the contest make sure to visit http://www.nightswithalicecooper.com
GLYDER began their musical journey in 2004 at the annual Phil Lynott tribute gig “Vibe for Philo” in Dublin. Three albums and two EP’s later GLYDER have developed a very distinguishable and unique sound, blending their classic rock influences with a fresh and modern twist.
GLYDER boasts three members that are still in their mid twenties yet they possess the musicianship and songwriting chops of veteran artists, thus allowing them the opportunity to bring their classic rock sound to audiences all over the world.
“Nights with Alice Cooper” is a radio show hosted by rock and roll artist and shock rock pioneer Alice Cooper. The show, in the classic rock radio format, is syndicated by United Stations Radio Networks and broadcast on over 110 radio stations in the USA, seven in Canada, and is also available in the UK (on Planet Rock) and all over Australia. Dozens of affiliate stations stream the radio show as well. Most places it airs from 7 p.m. to Midnight, locally.
Cooper plays requests as well as his favorite classic rock songs; tells personal anecdotes; answers emails; and interviews celebrities. Guest interviews have included Jeff Beck, Steve Miller, Brian Johnson of AC/DC, Ozzy Osbourne, Rob Zombie, Def Leppard, Peter Frampton, Chrissie Hynde, and many dozens more. NWAC also plays rare tracks of classic rock artists, along with blues, garage/punk and psychedelic songs.
NWAC debuted on January 26, 2004. www.nightswithalicecooper.com

The performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall (recorded on the 5th of April, 2010) includes two sets, the first consisting of the band performing 2000’s now-classic, breakthrough epic, Blackwater Park in its entirety, and the second, a chronologically arranged selection of material from the rest of Opeth’s extensive catalogue, totaling almost three hours of music. It is, like the rest of Opeth’s greatest work, “purposefully warped in all the right places” (Decibel). The front cover artwork concept pays tribute to Deep Purple´s Concerto for Group and Orchestra, underlining the band’s longstanding love for their prog-rock roots.

Family and friends,
As many of you know already, Phil Kennemore was recently diagnosed with metastatic cancer. Phil has undergone a barrage of tests, a long hospital stay at Stanford, an operation, and will soon start aggressive chemotherapy to regain his health and get him back with the band on stage again.
Because of this and potentially more treatments to come, I have put together a fund for Phil so that people from around the world can make donations to help him with his enormous medical bills. I have set up a page for this Fund and you can visit it at the link below, for more information on how you can contribute.
Feel free to spread the word and share this link with your friends.
Any donation, no matter what the size, will be greatly appreciated.
