Video Showdown #18 – Shadows Fall Vs. Ozzy Osbourne

On this Halloween Edition of Hard Rock Hideout’s Video Showdown, I decided to use one of my favorite Halloween songs, as the subject piece for this Showdown.

Ozzy Osbourne’s song “Bark at the Moon” needs to introductions to most hard rock fans.  Not only is this a killer song, but it has a cool video to boot!  In 2009, the metal band Shadows Fall, released a cover of “Bark at The Moon” on the Deluxe Edition of their CD, Redemption.  In March 2010, Shadows Fall released “Bark at the Moon” as a single and video.  After watching the Shadows Fall video, it seems that they also tried to remake the Ozzy Osbourne video as well, right down to Jake E. Lee’s puffy white shirt.

So which video should win Video Showdown #18? Check out the two video clips below, and decide with your vote!

Good effort. maybe the singer should try B.T.O or something…just a thought. Sorry man..cool hair…a little old lady got mutilated just last night Werewolfs of London again…but face it Bra, singin’s cutthroat. Woop. Dey et ays. I thought the same of merciful fate though. extrordinary band. Creepy singer and not the lyrics either just WTF?

not alot of voters is a shame. That band did a bang up job but they were asking a DIE HARD Ozzy fan. Could be their originals are somethin’ else man & I might have never even checked them out if it hadn’t been for that random hard rock hide out vote. Slick with the solo. band is tight. I might suggest uh don’t attempt to do Ozzy unless you can pull it off though as far as vocals go. Say what you will –and you will…but there’s only ONE OZZY.
