one sure does take it on the chin a lot for making sound decisions and giving something back…like helping find new singers. i have yet to tune into american idol this year. i trust steven will do his job,hair or no hair,and help turn out some singers. perhaps even singers that our children can safely view and listen to. after all,isnt that the type of thing a veteran,grown up,professional does?
That’s pretty harsh. I wish they hadn’t let their direction stray so much but classic Aerosmith will always be classic in my headphones. Plus ya gotta hand it to ‘em for trying to break barriers. Look at Kieth Richards and Slash for instance. those guys jam with everyone and eventually a great song comes out of it — or a benefit show, or something. to see Steven tyler on American Idol is depressing to me( I thought The Ozbournes was a goofy show, too, though…its all about the music) but on the up side maybe he’ll stay clean for a while!!!

Maybe you think you look sexy, but in my opinion, you look like a slob on American Idol. Your uncombed hair may make you look real cool, but in my opinion, you look like you just crawled out of bed. I don’t care that you’re a rock star or whatever, but you don’t turn me on!
I gave up on Steve after Aerosmith “Rocks” which I thought was their lst really good album. After they did the Rap crap and started getting really soft. (Did you ever see the “Pink” video) They really lost the down and dirty feeling they had in the early stuff. Don’t get me wrong Steve is a great singer and the rest of the band are top notch, but somewhere they lost the hunger or maybe just got too big. Others may like their new stuff, that is fine, but give me old Aerosmith and let Steve set and rot on Idol all he likes.
