Iron Maiden Wins A Grammy!

Iron Maiden won a Grammy award for ‘Best Metal Performance” for their song “El Dorado” off of their album, The Final Frontier! Iron Maiden was up against some hard rock and metal heavyweights including Megadeth, Slayer, KORN, and Lamb of God.

While I put as much credit into the Grammy’s as I do, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, it is cool to see Iron Maiden get an award for the music in the United States, even if it wasn’t televised.

You can check out a live version of “El Dorado” below!

I’m so glad maiden won their first grammy. I’ve been a fan since the first album. I just wished the U.S. would wake up and figure out there’s great music out there like iron maiden and give up that junk the record company’s in the U.S. are trying to force feed us

I agree 100% Thomas! It is a shame that you don’t see any hard rock or metal represented on the Grammy’s show. The only way you can find out which artists won is online. 😦
