Helsinki vampires THE 69 EYES have revealed the cover art for the bands upcoming tenth studio album, “X”.
Commented lead alchemist Jyrki69: “The cover is pure Goth ‘n’ Roll: a psychedelic mirror image of old wild animal bones with our X-tagram projected over all. It’s good, evil, magic & voodoo all together! Something to stare at when tripping on the album.”
“X” is scheduled for a late September 2012 release via Nuclear Blast.
The first single, “Red”, will be released in August. More info coming soon – keep your eyes peeled!
Nickelback is certainly one of those bands that some fans love to hate. I am not a hater by any means. They always deliver every time I see them live, and it was their live show that made me a fan. I didn’t think their latest album Here and Now was their best, but I did like the song “This Means War”. Check it out in the video clip below!

Ian Gillan and Tony Iommi took everybody by surprise in 2011 by releasing a charity single: “Out Of My Mind”, renewing the collaboration that led the pair recording the Black Sabbath album “Born Again” in 1984. Click here for the video: http://youtu.be/n2vxQApPg40
None other than Jason Newsted (Metallica), Jon Lord, Nicko McBrain (Iron Maiden) and Linde Lindström (HIM) supported the two rock legends. Not only jamming together for the shear fun of things, this new project has united for a cause – rebuilding and helping the music school in Gyumari, Armenia. The single was a joyful and inspired moment. Iommi and Gillan have now decided to make WhoCares an album for their devoted fans.
