Co-Headline Touring Partner Daughtry To Also Appear At Benefit

Sponsored By The Mississippi Army National Guard

3 Doors Down will stage the 9th annual The Better Life Foundation concert on November 17 at Horseshoe Casino in Tunica, Mississippi.  The long-term mission of the foundation is to make a positive change in the lives of children in need of food, shelter, and medical assistance, and to enhance the lives of children and young adults with special needs.  Funds raised are distributed to organizations and hospitals that fulfill the band’s mission to enable children to develop their potential, achieve their goals, and become caring and responsible adults.  Operating with the mission statement, “Changing the World, One Life at a Time,” 3 Doors Down has committed their energies over the past decade to make a tangible contribution for those in need through this annual event, and continuous efforts to generate funding to support these goals.  Singer Brad Arnold shares, “It’s a blessing and a honor to be able to give back to communities in need through The Better Life Foundation. A big thank you to all the fans and sponsors who continue to support the foundation and the amazing work it does!”

The event is sponsored by the Mississippi Army National Guard.  Touring partner Daughtry will appear at the event, with this performance serving as the kick-off of the bands’ co-headline tour.  The coveted array of silent auction items include amongst others signed guitars from 3 Doors Down, Los Lonely Boys, Korn, Bush, Theory of A Deadman, Godsmack, Staind and Chevelle, alongside drumheads from Nickelback and Josh Groban.  From the world of sports, jerseys signed by Dallas Cowboy Miles Austin and Miami Dolphin Anthony Fasono, footballs from the Carolina Panthers and N.Y. Jets, a signed helmet from future Hall of Famer Brett Favre and a football signed by legend Chris Carter.  These are a handful of the close to a hundred items altruistically donated from dozens who have stepped up to support the foundation.
