The British quartet will also serve as main support for Buckcherry on their upcoming tour, including a return to NYC on May 23rd at Irving Plaza. In addition to dates with Buckcherry, they will play a string of club shows with The Last Vegas. Please see below for the itinerary.
Heaven’s Basement‘s debut album, FILTHY EMPIRE (Red Bull Records), is in stores now. Both it and the band have been receiving stellar reviews from the press and fans alike. Outburn declared, “On the strength of their kick-ass live show, Heaven’s Basement has seen their popularity and profile propel upward like a shot from a flare gun…” while The Aquarian avowed, “With this full-length debut, the band has made an explosive entrance onto the modern rock scene…” The band was also recently profiled in both Revolver and Guitar World, with Revolver dubbing them a “Band To Watch.”
FILTHY EMPIRE was produced by John Feldmann (The Used, Papa Roach, Black Veil Brides). The first single, “Fire, Fire,” is currently impacting Active Rock radio. Check out the video for the single, directed by Michael Maxxis (Ours, Sum 41, and Our Lady Peace), here. Another track “I Am Electric” was recently used in the new “Need For Speed Most Wanted” video game and its trailer which can be seen here.
Heaven’s Basement have been making a name for themselves via their relentless touring and fiery live show plus music that features huge guitar riffs, killer melodies and an arena-rock sound. Originally formed in the East Midlands in England, Heaven’s Basement have also toured the U.K. and Europe with the likes of Black Veil Brides, Papa Roach, Shinedown, Halestorm, Seether and more and played last year’s Download Festival in the UK to a packed tent of more than 5,000 fans. Kerrang declared, “Heaven’s Basement play as if their lives depend on it. They should already be a big name – bristling riffs and jagged, riotous hooks are their poison and exceptional is not too strong a word.” Heaven’s Basement is Aaron Buchanan (vocals), Sid Glover (guitar), Rob Ellershaw (bass), and Chris Rivers (drums).
Each year, Revolver throws the premier U.S. hard rock and metal awards show, the Revolver Golden Gods. In its fifth year, the show has featured appearances by Marilyn Manson & Johnny Depp, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Motley Crue, Rob Halford, Dave Grohl, Slash, Lemmy Kilmister, Dave Mustaine, William Shatner, Sebastian Bach, Alice Cooper, Kat Von D, and many others. “Sixteen albums in, these dudes are not only still fired up; they’re practicing their craft at the peak of their skills, with no signs of slowing down.” – Decibel Magazine
