If you have ever watched any of the T.V. show, Gene Simmons, Family Jewels you have surely seen Gene Simmons wear the black hat with the Logo, I Am Indy. This is the marketing campaign that Gene helped create for the Indy Racing League.
Sunday’s are usually reserved for Motorsports at the Hard Rock Hideout. A few short weeks ago, My wife and I were are the Indy Race at the Kentucky Speedway. I can safely say that Gene’s marketing campaign is well in place. Banners, flags, hats, and t-shirts all emblazoned with Gene’s catch phrase, “I Am Indy”.
Gene Simmons was at the track, and I had an infield pass, but I did not catch even a glimpse of the infamous rock star. I did however take some pretty good pictures of IRL stars, Danica Patrick, Helio Castroneves, 3 Time IRL Champion, Sam Hornisch Jr. and 2007 Indy 500 winner, Dario Franchitti.
You can view those pictures here.

I also took the video below. Enjoy!
Tony Kanaan won the race on this day. The race ended with a hellacious crash right in front of us. I didn’t take this video, but this is worth seeing. Dario Franchitti goes airborne at the end of the race. Check it out!
I think it is safe to say that this is one of the biggest debut discs by any hard rock band, and is certainly one of the most influential records of all time.
As far as debut’s go, Van Halen has only been outsold by Guns N’ Roses‘, Appetite for Destruction. A Diamond Level in sales (10 Million Copies sold) is certainly nothing to sneeze at.
Eddie Van Halen’s guitar playing on this record, changed the face of rock music. Countless guitarists tried to replicate his style of playing over the years, and he continues to influence young guitarists today.
The dynamic front man, David Lee Roth was nothing like anyone else at the scene at the time, and he too has had plenty of imitators over the years.
This record is one that you can listen to from beginning to end. It rocks all the way through. Several of the cuts have been over played on rock radio. Four Singles were released from this record, Running With the Devil, (The Kinks‘ cover) You Really got Me, Ain’t Talkin’ Bout Love, and Jamie’s Cryin.
One of my all time favorite Van Halen tunes, is the John Brim cover, Ice Cream Man.
In 2003, Rolling Stone picked this record as one of the greatest rock records of all time. I may not accede with all of their picks, but this is one that I would certainly agree with.
If you don’t own this record, Do NOT pass go, do not collect $200.00. Get you tail to your local record store and pick this up.

This CD is filled with some great blues filled hard rock. Sadly, this music didn’t fit into the music scene at the time.
Like many of the bands of late 80′s early 90′s era, The War Babies didn’t fit into the grunge scene and disappeared as fast as they showed up. They had minor success with the song Hang Me Up. It received some airplay on MTV, and Z-Rock.
The stand out songs on this disc are Hang Me Up, the acoustic based Cry Yourself To Sleep, the Aerosmith inspired Sweetwater, my personal favorite, Blue Tomorrow and the rocking Satellite.
The War Babies are a band that will likely appeal to fans of Aerosmith, Thunder, Asphalt Ballet and Saigon Kick.
This disc has been out of print for a while. You can find some cheap used copies on EBay and at Amazon.com. It is worth grabbing if you can find it. Happy Hunting!

Certainly one of the most electrifying performers of any decade, Sebastian Bach is set to release “Angel Down” on November 20, his first solo album in eight years. The 14-song “Angel Down” was produced by Roy Z (BRUCE DICKINSON, ROB HALFORD, JUDAS PRIEST), and recorded in July and August 2006 at Sound City Studios in Hollywood, CA. The CD will be released via a joint venture between Merovingian Music, Ltd. (MRV) and Bach’s Get Off My Bach Productions, and distributed worldwide through Caroline/EMI Music Group.
Joining Bach in the studio for “Angel Down” were guitarists “Metal” Mike Chlasciak and Johnny Chromatic, and Bobby Jarzombek on drums, all long-time members of Bach’s touring band, as well as Rob DeLuca on bass, who will join Bach and company on the road next summer.
Nine of the 14 songs on “Angel Down” were written or co-written by Bach including the first radio track, “(Love Is) A Bitchslap” (co-written with Roy Z). While more than two weeks away from its official “add” date (September 4), “Bitchslap” is already being played at powerhouse rock radio stations like KUPD in Phoenix and Boston’s WAAF. Bach and Roy Z also co-wrote “You Don’t Understand”, “By Your Side”, and “Our Love Is A Lie”, while Bach teamed with Desmond Child for “Falling Into You”. In addition, the band covered the Steven Tyler/Joe Perry classic “Back In The Saddle”. Other tracks include “Stabbin’ Daggers”, “Take You Down with Me”, “Negative Light”, “Live & Die”, “American Metalhead”, “Stuck Inside” and “You Bring Me Down”.
The cover art for “Angel Down” is an original painting by Bach’s late father, the celebrated Canadian artist David Bierk who died in 2002. The painting, entitled “David’s Watching”, was the last piece of art Bierk created before his passing, so was an emotional choice for Bach. Bierk also created the cover artwork for SKID ROW’s 1991 album “Slave To The Grind”, which Rolling Stone voted one of the top 5 album covers of the year. His paintings have been exhibited in art galleries all over North America.
“Angel Down” also represents a reunion of sorts — 20 years ago, Jack Ponti (then a successful songwriter and record producer, now MRV’s CEO) worked with Jason Flom (then A&R rep at Atlantic Records, now Chairman and CEO of Capitol Music Group) who signed the Sebastian Bach-fronted SKID ROW to Atlantic Records. With MRV dedicated to supporting and developing artist-owned, management-owned and independent labels, and Flom calling the shots from EMI, a dynamic triumvirate has realigned.
Update: Listen to “Love is a Bitchslap” here.
Judging from this first song, this may be an essential CD to pick up in 2007.
“Halloween” stabs its way back into theaters on Friday, following the release of the soundtrack last week. In addition to directing, Rob Zombie also had a major influence on the music used in the new movie. Zombie tapped composer Tyler Bates (300, Grindhouse, The Devils Rejects) to re-create one of the creepiest theme songs in movie history.
The Halloween theme is the lead track on the soundtrack that is filled with rock hits from the 70’s and foreboding dialogue from the new movie.
Check out the new theme for Halloween here!
This CD was released in the UK last year, and in the U.S. in January.
Check out the video for the track, “Falling to Pieces”. The tour dates are listed below.
Last week, we had the distinct honor and privilege of viewing a small part of the creative processes involved in the making of this cd.
Lars Lunova ( http://www.drpank.de/cms/index.php), the drummer for Sin City, sent us a cd video. This vid had an hour and a half of clips showing discussions, practices and recording sessions for “This Ain’t Heaven…Welcome To Hell”!
These clips are apparently part of hundreds of hours of video shot, and are tentatively going to be used to produce a Rockumentary on the making of “This Ain’t Heaven…Welcome To Hell”.
These clips were very intense in spots…..Sin City worked night and day to make this cd come together.
We got to hear snippets of virtually every song that is coming out this September 22nd, and heard how each song progressed from formation until final production. Some songs changed immensely, some were obviously almost perfect from the start.
Some clips were hilarious. At times a miniature ac/dc “Hells Bells” bell would appear in front of the camera, much to our delight…..or a small Spiderman cutout would swoop across the lens…LOL!
And virtually everyone who was filmed has a little bit of the devil in them! You know….the old high school prank where you put a victory sign up behind the person who is being filmed (without their knowledge of course)…..LOL!
There was a very intense man in a lot of the clips…VERY intense! Who did not look like a rocker at all, but was very much involved with everything from the creative process to actually being in the background vocals.
A quick email to Pank (Lars), after viewing this vid, came back telling us that this man was in fact Eddi. He is the former singer for the band; who still writes, sings and helps produce their music!
Now how many bands do you know who do that!?!?!?!?!!!
The only drawback to viewing this video was that, for the most part, all the band members are speaking in German.
This was especially frustrating to us when Pank and Dshurgen are sitting on a couch somewhere in Rock ‘N Roll land, obviously discussing the inner workings of a particular song (and there were four different songs discussed this way). But we could not understand a word that was spoken except the song titles!
We should have studied harder in high school German class! LOL!
Hopefully, if this Rockmentary is ever released to English speaking countries, they will put subtitles in place.
The website guru’s for Sin City are working on a band website to be done totally in English and are setting up a Paypal account. And hope to have this all in place before the cd’s release, so that anyone worldwide can learn about Sin City and purchase the latest release.
The members of Sin City genuinely love each other, they love what they do and they can not wait to share their new music with the world!
Also, Sin City has produced two other cd’s of original music, “And There Was Rock” & “Hellectric”. These cd’s should be required additions for every true Rockers library. Truly awesome tunes in both, from start to finish. But we must say that “This Ain’t Heaven…Welcome to Hell” is their finest effort to date!
One last little tidbit, for you trivia lovers at Hard Rock Hideout…..better file this one away in the memory banks for future retrieval….
The title of their latest cd is actually a combination of two song titles by Rhino Bucket!
And that is intentional.
In the meantime we are waiting anxiously for the release of “This Ain’t Heaven…Welcome to Hell” and as far as we’re concerned September 22nd can’t come soon enough!
Bring it on Sin City…..we are ready to ROCK!

Go get it this week, while you can get it cheap!!
You can read the Hard Rock Hideout Review Here!
Judging from what I have heard on this disc, this may be release that sends the band into the stratosphere.
Atreyu is powered by two singers. Drummer/Singer Brandon Saller provides the melodic vocals, while Alex Varkatzas handles the aggressive screaming. This dual vocal approach gives the band a somewhat unique sound that meshes the metal and hardcore genres together.
Lead Sails Paper Anchor is a radio friendly collection of modern metal songs. This disc ought to generate at least four to five singles on mainstream rock radio.
I can only describe the song Doomsday as melodic metal meets thrash. This song mixes the excellent vocals of Saller’s, with the thrashing guitar licks of Dan Jacobs and Travis Miquel. This is a very cool way to start off this disc.
Becoming The Bull is a killer song that has already been released as a single and is having mild chart success.
Honor has a similar guitar riff to Becoming the Bull. It is a good song, but not quite as good as the track that precedes it.
The style of the song Falling Down reminds me of Green Day quite a bit, but the heavy guitar work sets it apart. This is an upbeat song that screams radio hit.
When Two Are One is an upbeat thrasher that will put most metalheads into a moshing frenzy.
No One Cares is a mid to high tempo number that Saller’s vocals shine on. This is another song that has hit potential.
I didn’t really care for Can’t Happen Here very much. Varkatzas reminds me of Rob Zombie at times, but I don’t think he is quite as good vocally. The music is good, but Varkatzas’s vocals ruined the tune for me.
Slow Burn on the other hand is an upbeat powerhouse of a tune, and ought to be the band’s second single.
Blow is probably my favorite track on the whole CD. This song has a very 80′s metal feel to it. The lyrics are catchy. This is a killer song. (You can preview this song below.)
Lead Sails(and a Paper Anchor) is a very good mid tempo number, that is probably the least heavy song on the record. This is going to be yet another hit for Atreyu.
My copy came with a cool cover of Faith No More’s hit, Epic. This song wasn’t listed on the digipak, so it is a nice surprise. It is a tad more hardcore with Varkatzas’ vocals, but it is still very true to the original song.
As a whole, Atreyu’s Lead Sails Paper Anchor is another decent hard rock disc, and one that is worthy of your hard earned dollars.

In a career spanning almost 25 years, Lizzy Borden was created in 1983 in Hollywood California. Spitting venom, stage blood and dripping grease paint while breathing life into bizarre characters bred precisely for the stage. Theme oriented creations such as, Love you to pieces (1985) Menace to society (1986) Visual Lies (1987) Master of Disguise (1989) Best Of (1994) and Deal with the Devil (2000) forever cemented icon status to the master showman from the dawn of heavy metal.
Now, Years in the making, Lizzy Borden pulls back the cloak to unveil his latest and most frightening creation, Appointment with Death (2007) a fatalistic journey to the final destination damned by the wings of death.
This is Lizzy Borden’s First new studio recording since Deal with the Devil (2000)
Appointment with Death was produced by L. Borden and J. Scott
It was recorded at the Zanzibar studios in N. Hollywood CA.
And was mixed by Erik Rutan (Hate Eternal/ex-Morbid Angel) at Mana sound in Florida
(….. about the concept and the characters on AWD)
Like all past Lizzy Borden recordings, Appointment with Death is a conceptual piece; this concept is centered around the theme of, as the title implies, Death.
“Oddly enough, writing eleven songs about death was no easy task for me; lyrically being graphic or grotesque would have been too easy, and being overly morbid would bring nothing new to the concept. I wrote this just like I have all of the other LB recordings, as a play or a movie. There is a beginning, middle and an end with the lead character taking us on a journey. Death is all around us, lurking, waiting to pounce, striking fear and antagonizing the living in many different ways, I tried to explore some of those ways in the most poetic way that I know how” commented Lizzy.
The music on AWD was composed by Lizzy, Ira Black, Marten Andersson and Joey Scott
AWD is epic, Heavy, dark and melodic, everything a traditional Lizzy Borden recording should be and more. With new guitarist Ira Black along with Marten Andersson on Bass and co/founder Joey Scott on the drums, the Lizzy Borden sound has evolved into a multi-dimensional ever-lasting-gobstopper working just as well in an ipod as it has always done on stage.
(The Star studded cast of characters that performed on AWD)
“These musicians are more then just special guests, they all, each in their own original way helped to create this work of fiction and bring Appointment with Death to life.” Lizzy
(All who performed on AWD)
Lizzy (Lizzy Borden)
Joey Scott (Lizzy Borden)
Marten Andersson (Lizzy Borden/George Lynch)
Ira Black (Lizzy Borden/Metal Church)
George Lynch (Dokken/Lynch mob)
Dave Meniketti (Y & T)
Corey Beaulieu (Trivium)
Jonas Hansson (Silver Mountain)
Erik Rutan (Hate Eternal/ex-Morbid Angel)
Michael T. Ross (Angel/Hardline)
(….About the cover)
For the Cover, Lizzy Borden worked with special effects wizard and make-up artist Ralis Kahn. Ralis designed the set and the look of the band based on the theme for Appointment with Death. The cover depicts Lizzy as the angel of Death in the action of collecting 3 souls who have ended their lives in 3 very different ways by their own hands. View the cover at this location http://www.Lizzyborden.com Famed ‘Metal’ photographer Alex Solca took well over a 1,000 shots in a two-day marathon, involving extras as well as the band (Lizzy, Joey Scott, Marten Andersson and Ira Black). At the end of the two-day shoot the set was literally set a blaze! With flames shooting 30 feet into the air!
Lizzy explains “Because a lot of music is going straight to itunes, we thought we would pay special attention to both the cover and the back cover and fill the inside of the CD booklet with tons of fun shots from this specialized photo shoot. As we all know, very soon there will no longer be an actual CD to have a cool booklet for. Everything will go straight from the studio to your ipod, so we thought we would really go all out on this one”
(….About the tour and the new show)
The new show for the Appointment with Death Tour is based around the theme of the new release; with Lizzy playing the lead character (Death). Lizzy and Co. will bring to life the characters and imagery from the album to the stage with special effects master Ralis Kahn at the helm. Ralis is working with the band designing an extraordinary over the top stage show created especially for the AWD tour. Showcasing songs from the new release as well as all the Borden fan favorites, the upcoming tour promises to be the show you don’t want to miss.
Tour Dates to be announced soon.

Sammy Hagar was on pit road at Infineon Raceway on Sunday as a more-than-casual observer. Hagar slapped his Cabo Wabo Tequila logo on the No. 13 IndyPro Series car of Robbie Pecorari, which he co-owns with A.J. Foyt.
Pecorari crashed on the first lap of Sunday’s Valley of the Moon 100 and finished 18th in Saturday’s Carneros 100 in a disappointing weekend at his boss’ home track.
“For me, it’s not only about winning. It’s just coming out and being competitive,” Hagar said. “Winning is just a big fringe benefit. It’s like when you’re record goes to No. 1. That’s a big fringe benefit.”
Having Hagar involved in racing is a big fringe benefit for Pecorari – and for the series, which receives a big boost from Hagar’s star power. A camera crew was following Hagar all day for the taping of “Road to Cabo 2.”
Pecorari’s first win of the season in July at Nashville, Tenn., was a welcome wake-up call for Hagar, who happened to be in Italy at the time.
“That was so cool,” Hagar said, even though it was 4 a.m. when he got the news. “I went whoo! Woke the wife up. That was awesome.”
“I had a Cobra and Bob had just made a serious run at the world championship with the Cobra,” Hagar said. “He said ‘Here, let me show you how to really drive that car.’
“I swear to you that I still think I probably died that day,” Hagar said. “He would come into a turn (fast) and I thought, ‘This is it. There’s no way we’re going around that corner this fast.’ It was the most reckless driving I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s awesome. It’s genius in those front-engine cars. That was the wildest thing ever.”
Hagar always lives up to his reputation as the wild man of rock, even though he turns 60 in October. His lifelong passion for racing fits right into that.
When he had the opportunity to invest in a business venture, Hagar knew what he wanted to do. His managers with Cabo Wabo had other ideas, but Hagar won out.
“I’m hands on but I’m not day-to-day,” Hagar said of his involvement with Cabo Wabo.
“I’m a race fan. I only do things that I like to do. People talk about (race) horses. I don’t like horses. You’ll never see me at the race track. I’m into car racing. It just made sense.”
Hagar spent some time in the hospital due to illness in May, but he’s back in action, pumping out a new album – between races.
“Everyone is here for the same reason. It’s like a rock concert,” Hagar said, comparing his two passions. “Everyone’s there to see the band. Everyone is here to see a race. The sound of those engines. All the excitement and adrenaline. A good wreck is fine, as long as nobody gets hurt. It’s the same thing on stage. They don’t want to see the leader singer get too drunk and fall down It’s loud and it’s an event. Being a real musician and a real race driver takes a huge amount of skill.”
Hagar is itching to get behind the wheel of a race car. He was invited to Fontana on Feb. 22 for the AutoClub 500 Nextel Cup race at California Speedway. He wrote on his blog that if officials let him drive the pace car, the field might not be able to keep up with him.
And how about a street race in his hometown?
“What, between me and the police?” said Hagar, laughing all the way.

Best known as lead vocalist for the legendary Melodic Rock masters DANGER DANGER, Ted has also fronted in the past few years such bands as BONEMACHINE, with whom he has recorded 2 successful studio and 1 live album, MELODICA with Austrian guitarist Gerhard Pichler. He started his solo career with the release of “Collateral Damage” in 2006.
“My new cd Smile continues where Collateral Damage left off” explains Ted, “however it is much more evolved with amazing guitar work by JK Northrup. I am sure the guitar fans and players out there will be totally pleased. JK’s lead work is off the hook”.
Helping Ted on the album are the aforementioned JK Northrup (ex KING KOBRA and NORTHRUP / SHORTINO) on guitar and bass, Eric Ragno (Ramos, Takara) on keyboards and Dan Zoid on drums, with Vic Rivera appearing on guitars on “Smile” and “Will Ya”. Ted co-wrote most of the songs together with Tom and James Martin (Khymera, House of Lords).
“I know everyone says that their new cd is their best but this one really is!” states Ted “I wanted to be myself but sound as great as possible, work with the best musicians and start out the best songs. I co-wrote a lot with some of my own personal favourite writers around the world. I am a very happy guy these days. I am still having the fun of remaining in DANGER DANGER and at the same time I am having fun, thus the title “Smile”. It reflects perfectly my current mood as well as my live show attitude. I am a very happy guy when I am doing music!”
Tracklisting of “Smile” includes the following songs:
Waiting Line; Going Blind; Smile; What If She Knew; More Than Goodbye; Luv On Me; If You Can’t Change Your Heart (Then Let Me Blow Your Mind); Why Can’t We Pretend That It’s Over?; Life Keeps Me Spinning Round; Where It Ends; Will Ya; Reprise (If You Can’t Change Your Heart)
Don’t forget that TED POLEY will attend, as DANGER DANGER frontman, the UNITED FORCES OF ROCK Festival in Ludwigsburg (near Stuttgart), Germany on September 30th 2007 !
“Smile” will be in all fine record shops in Europe from October 19th. Don’t miss TED POLEY’s ultimate Melodic Rock masterpiece!

After we finished up our shopping in Times Square, and stopped to eat lunch (in the Hard Rock Cafe of course), we headed on the Subway to Battery Park to catch a ferry to Liberty Island to see the Statue of Liberty.
I don’t think you can truly appreciate this magnificent monument without seeing up and close and in person.
After a nice stop on the island for a few pictures, we headed back to Manhattan, for another subway ride back to Rockefeller Plaza.
We walked by Radio City Music Hall. Deep Purple was playing there that night…..Oh if I could have only stayed another day….
Our final stop was at St. Patrick’s Cathedral which is a short walk from Rockefeller Plaza. This is the most amazing church you will see anywhere. Both inside, and out, this building was breathtaking.
After a long tiring day, with lots of walking, we headed back to Grand Central Station in time to catch the second to last train back to Poughkeepsie.
It was a full day affair in the Big Apple, and there many sights that we didn’t get a chance to see, but we still caught our fair amount. New York City isn’t nearly as frightening as it seems. I would like to go back when I have more time.
I have attached a slideshow below with more pictures that I took along the way. Enjoy!
The clip is a small segment of a longer video for the “Bleed Well”.
Hidden within the video is another secret key code that will unlock a hidden video from the band. Check out the video below to crack the code on Heartagram.com.
After our time on top of the Empire State Building, we headed to tourist trap #2, Times Square. I can’t image any place on earth that has so much digital signage, neon signs, and advertisements. It is quite the spectacle. We were there in the early afternoon, so I could not see the night time glow, but it was still pretty impressive.
As you can see from the picture to the left, Ronnie James Dio has made his mark in New York City. The Devil Horn / Fork sign is outside the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square.
We had our trade offs in Times Square, we promised my stepdaughter that we would go to Toys R Us in Times Square.
My request was that we had to hit the Virgin Record Store which was right next door.
The Toys R Us store in Times Square has to be the biggest Toy Store Anywhere. This store has multiple floors, and huge displays. Shoppers entering the store are greeted with a huge Ferris Wheel, and an almost amusement park like environment. It was quite an amazing store. I never expected to come face to face with a 20 foot animated T-Rex. Very cool indeed! Check out the video below!
The Virgin Record Store was equally as big as Toys R Us. It was 3 floors of music, movies and mayhem. I was quite surprised at how good the hard rock selection was there. They even had JORN on the shelf as an import. (Something I have never seen anywhere.) Someone like me could get lost in a big store like that, never to be seen again.
Just walking around in Times Square was pretty amazing. It was a sight worth seeing, and a great place to shop and eat. Television just doesn’t do it justice.
Below are more pictures and video that I shot in Times Square. Enjoy!

To celebrate the release of Lead Sails Paper Anchor, Atreyu have scheduled two special in store events for their home town fans. On August 28th, the band will be in Irvine, CA at the Irvine Spectrum and will be signing copies of their new album starting at 5pm. Then on August 30th, the band head down to Horton Plaza in San Diego, CA for another signing at the Hot Topic store. Fans that purchase the record in advance of street date at the Irvine location will get a wristband that will guarantee them a meet-and-greet with Atreyu and the same applies to the San Diego fans that purchase the record on August 28th.
On Tuesday Morning, we took an early train from Poughkeepsie, NY to New York City. We were advised that this was the most cost effective way to get to and from New York City. Everything costs an arm and a leg in NYC, especially the parking. Trust me, you DO NOT want to have to drive in New York City. You may get run over by a crazed taxi driver.
Nonetheless, our train pulled into Grand Central Station (an amazing train station) around 8:30 A.M. After meeting a friend of ours from New Jersey, and getting a bite to eat, we headed to one of the two biggest tourist traps in New York City, The Empire State Building.
Walking to The Empire State Building, the one thing I noticed is that everyone seems to be on their way somewhere, and in a big hurry to get there. It is one fast paced life style in the Big Apple. After a short blocks, we made it to our destination.
The Empire State Building is now the tallest building in New York City at a whipping 1472 feet tall. This is near three times taller than the tallest building in Cincinnati, the city that I live closest too. The famed building has been in countless movies, and the view is to die for. Views like this don’t come cheap however.
Luckily, we got there early enough to beat the long lines, and our wait time was minimal at best. We paid our admission to the 86th floor observatory. The $93.00 admission to go the 102nd floor was far too much for the same view only 16 floors higher.
The video below was taken from digital camera. Enjoy the view!

It’s a bloodier and even more brutal prequel to the cult classic film from Dee Snider of Twisted Sister fame, only this time it’s in comic book form! STRANGELAND: SEVEN SINS arrives on August 29th from Fangoria Comics. It’s a “Horror Vengeance” title that tells the terrifying tale of how Carleton Hendricks becomes the merciless Captain Howdy, and the sadistic path of revenge he takes against the seven individuals responsible.
Taking on the writing chores for this four-issue mini-series is Dee’s son, Jesse Blaze Snider. In addition to fronting the up-and-coming band BAPTiZED BY FiRE, Jesse will have work featured in the forthcoming Marvel Comics Presents series.
Joining Jesse on art will be Irish artist Stephen Mooney, best known for his contributions to the CSI comic books and various titles from IDW’s Angel series. Rounding out the art team is Jason Jensen, an industry vet who has colored everything from Chaos! to Archie.
STRANGELAND: SEVEN SINS is a four-issue monthly mini-series from Fangoria Comics. Each issue clocks in at 32 pages for $3.99. All issues sport covers by Mooney and Jensen.
