0 Hellpop II Tour – Cincinnati, Ohio Photo Gallery Featuring Before The Mourning, All Hail The Yeti, Devour The Day & Butcher Babies
The Hellpop II Tour came to Cincinnati, Ohio’s Bogart’s on Sunday night, but there was a little problem. You see, In This Moment had to postpone their show, as Maria Brink has been ill.
With the absence of the tour’s headliner, Bogart’s and the other bands on the Hellpop II Tour decided to make this a free show. Anyone could walk in and check out this event, and judging from the packed house at Bogart’s, many did.
Before the Mourning, All Hail The Yeti, Devout the Day & Butcher Babies took advantage of the situation by electrifying the crowd with their heavy, hair flying metal. The Cincinnati fans loved definitely loved every minute of it. The show had more crowd surfers than I have seen at any local events in quite some time. All of the bands were great, but it was the Butcher Babies who stole their show.
Devour The Day singer, Blake Allison joined in the crowd surfing fun during the band’s set, and The Butcher Babies’ Heidi Sheperd and Carla Harvey got up close and personal singing to the crowd atop the Bogart’s pit barrier, while the security scrambled to hold them up, and manage to deflect the onslaught of crowd surfers that made their way into the pit.
This show could have easily been cancelled, but instead it turned out to be a great night of metal in Cincinnati. In This Moment & Butcher Babies will return to Bogarts on February 3rd, 2014. Don’t miss them!

IN THIS MOMENT and Century Media Records are proud to announce the release of ‘BLOOD’ Special Edition, a two-disc set featuring the band’s breakthrough album ‘BLOOD’ and the bonus live DVD ‘BLOOD AT THE ORPHEUM’. The package is set for a January 21, 2014 release in North America and includes a bonus cover of the NINE INCH NAILS track “Closer” on ‘BLOOD’, and the live DVD featuring a full 100-minute concert shot in Madison, WI, earlier this year, behind the scenes footage and interviews. In Europe, ‘BLOOD AT THE ORPHEUM’ will be released February 17 as a limited edition standalone DVD, and digitally in an audio-only format.

“Whore” is the third single from ‘BLOOD’, and continues to climb at radio, where the track currently sits at #16 with a bullet on the Active Rock charts. Released in August 2012 on Century Media Records, the album made the highest debut of the band’s career, entering the Billboard Top 200 at No. 15 and selling more than 20,000 units first week. The record has emerged as one of the best selling rock albums of the past year, recently surpassing 200,000 in sales according to SoundScan.
The video for “Whore” [CLICK HERE to watch] is turning heads with its stark, voyeuristic feel, combining the theatrical aplomb that marks IN THIS MOMENT’s live performances with visuals that are as compelling as they are disturbing. Directed by Robert Kley, who was also at the helm for the band’s “Adrenalize” [CLICK HERE to watch] and “Blood” [CLICK HERE to watch] videos, “Whore” co-stars MOTIONLESS IN WHITE frontman Chris Motionless. “His look is so perfect for the dirty vintage feel of the video, and he was a perfect gentleman while being violated by me,” says ITM frontwoman Maria Brink.

Los Angeles-based Southern groove metal outfit ALL HAIL THE YETI recently filmed an incredible new video for the seventh track from their pending self-titled debut LP.
“The Art Of Mourning” is about a gunslinger who wants out of his “deviant” lifestyle, and is trying to settle down with his wife and kids, but the people above him don’t want to lose their best gun. So they murder his kids, rape and hang his wife. and leave them for dead on the porch of his burnt-down ranch. Now this torn man with nothing left, has to decide whether to come to terms with the consequences of a life that he chose. Or take revenge on the men that took everything from him. Filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia with director Rob Cantin, the video combines close-up performance footage of ALL HAIL THE YETI cut into a gritty, Western movie storyline chock full of old-school debauchery, brutal gunfights and gory head-shots utilizing actual .45 revolvers, a full-on lynching and all kinds of high-action entertainment!
Stated ALL HAIL THE YETI vocalist Connor Garritty on the video’s inception and creation: “Rob and I have been friends for many years and we share a love for the Old West and the gunfighters of the late 1800’s. We have done a couple paranormal investigations of hot spots like tombstone’s birdcage theater, and Bisbee Arizona, trying to get some sort of glimpse of what life would have been like back then. We had a blast making this clip and this is just the beginning for us. We are already in talks about the next one. With these ventures you learn new things every time, and each moment becomes a memory. That is the most important thing to us!”

Uniting elements of sludge metal, hardcore and groove-laden hard rock, ALL HAIL THE YETI’s self-titled debut album captures the act’s most crushing tunes to date, with over a solid hour of thunderous riffage. Featuring well-known tattoo artist,Connor Garritty of Timeless Tattoos in Los Angeles, ALL HAIL THE YETI have forged their own path through what they see as a desolate Hollywood music scene, the hard-working unit dead-set against burning out like so many bands from the same town and scene have over the past few decades of heavy music. Recorded with producers Tommy Decker and Mike Sarkisyan the band’s debut LP will be released in North America via German metal juggernaut AFM Records on August 28th.
