ARTIST SERVICE is proud to announce new releases in September 2008
We are very proud to announce the signing of NEONDAZE from Sweden and TRAGEDIAN from Germany.
NEONDAZE, hard rockers from Sweden, led by outstanding guitarist Lars Boquist, will release their self-titled debut album through Artist Service / MBM. Just turn up to eleven and let yourself be impressed by their melodic hard rock power!
TRAGEDIAN are following their metal roots with their debut release “Dreamscape”. By combining the metal sounds of yesterday and today TRAGEDIAN delivers 11 tight and atmospheric tracks many fans of the classic metal genres surely will go for!
NEONDAZE “s/t” – release: 9/12/08 (Artist Service / MBM)
Many are convinced by the opposite but sometimes you just have to watch TV to change your live. So did guitarist Lars Boquist when he watched the Swedish version of `Star Search´ one evening. Marcus Lundgren, a so far unknown singer had his appearance there performing Bon Scott of AC/DC, didn´t win the competition but was able to convince Lars with his vocal performance. Lars invited him to do an audition with his band and shortly after Marcus happened to be the new vocalist of NEONDAZE.
Guitarist Lars (ex-REPTILIAN, ex- POLE POSITION), who previously was featured in several music mags (among them Guitar Player) due to his outstanding guitar work already played with drummer Hampus Landin and bassist Jesper Lahn for several months. Hampus already gained some notable
reputation regarding his work with MISS BEHAVIOUR.
Already having loads of good songs at his disposal Lars introduced them to Marcus, Jesper and Hampus who instantly were excited about the quality of Lars songwriting talents and immediately began working out song structures, changing vocal lines and perfecting the drum basics. The result is 12 highly melodic and catchy hard rock songs able to bare comparison with many other respected bands from this genre.
The album was recorded in Lars home recording studio. The mix and mastering was done by Stefan Pettersson at Realtime Recording Studio in Norrköping.
The first song of the album “Intoxicated” was featured on Perris Records compilation `Hollywood Hairspray 7´ in September 2007.

TRAGEDIAN “Dreamscape” – release: 9/12/2008 (Artist Service / MBM)
Main man behind TRAGEDIAN is Gabriele Palermo, a gifted guitarist/bassist and songwriter, inspired by many classic metal/rock bands such as DIO, FIFTH ANGEL and 80´s era HOUSE OF LORDS. Originally formed in 2002 TRAGEDIAN went through several line-up changes, released 2 demos and contributed songs to 2 tribute samplers.
TRAGEDIAN now is ready to present its first full-length album which is titled “Dreamscape”. Along with vocalist Timo Behrens, drummer Lennart Medebach and keyboarder Ingo Salzmann Gabriele Palermo has created 10 original compositions able to impress many metal fans of different genres.
Heavy riffs, blistering keyboard/guitar solos, a tight rhythm section and the powerful and melodic voice of recently discovered vocal talent Timo Behrens are the trademarks to TRAGEDIAN´s sound.
By combining traditional metal with modern and progressive influences TRAGEDIAN is successful in delivering the perfect metal album, a distinctive collection of melodic yet powerful songs, both catchy and thoughtful.
TRAGEDIAN recently contributed its outstanding metal hymn “Conquerors” to AFM´s compilation “Power & Glory – The Best Of Power Metal Hymns Vol. 1” and thus stand in line with bands such as PRIMAL FEAR, SONATA ARCTICA, AXXIS and MYSTIC PROPHECY, just to name a few.

With a pedigree that includes names such as BILLY SHEEHAN, BRIGHTON ROCK, 24K, LOU GRAMM, TONY LEVIN, JIM GILMOUR and TOM LORD ALGE it is no surprise that a true Hard Rock masterpiece has been born! Singer PHIL NARO already provided his songwriting abilities for genre heroes such as CONEY HATCH. PETER CRISS, LEE AARON, LIBERTY N´ JUSTICE, KIM MITCHELL and many others.
Now he and his bandmates Greg Boileau (guitars), John Rogers (guitars), Rob Grant (bass) and Roger Banks (drums) are presenting a piece of classic, energetic and powerful hard rock, causing severe banging and rockin´. Other forthcoming releases in May: BRIDE “Skin For Skin” – release: July 11th, 2008 (Retroactive / MBM)
Dale and Troy Thompson, original founders of BRIDE, have once again composed and recorded 14 songs that are sure to re-awaken the BRIDE fans. Not since the release of the legendary “Snakes in the Playground has any of their CD’s been so highly anticipated. Skin for Skin is a very powerful piece of work. Dale’s vocals continue to induce and incite cold chills up the spine. Troy invents some of the most memorable and groove oriented metal licks in his career. Lawrence Bishop on bass drives the bottom end like a M1 Tank. And, unlike past releases, Skin for Skin is riddled with double bass thunder. Together all of these elements produce possibly the best work that BRIDE has ever recorded!
Lyrically Dale deals with tough subjects like racism, war, evil in the world, sacrifice and the love of one for all others. He delves headlong and addresses addiction, redemption, restoration, deliverance, and love. Dale’s son Alex, who is currently serving in the United States Air Force, even has songwriting credit as he shares his song about suicide on this CD. Alex could not perform the song himself but BRIDE did their best to interpret his thoughts and feelings.
BRIDE also invited a special guest to appear on the CD. Not since their second release Live to Die has guitar virtuoso Steve Osborne appeared on a BRIDE CD. But on Skin for Skin you will hear his phenomenal solo’s throughout.
BRIDE is universally recognized as one of the greatest live bands to date and they now have captured the live energy on a studio CD.
GRAVE ROBBER “Befraid” – release: July 11th, 2008 (Retroactive / MBM)
Formed in 2005, these devil’s rejects arm themselves with sonic, vibratory executions and images of horrific realities, bringing an onslaught of sound and warning that will ring into eternity. Rest assured, you will be afraid. You will be very afraid. Fans of Rackets and Drapes, The Misfits, Alice Cooper, Type O Negative, Gwar, Kiss, Danzig, and Rob Zombie will find themselves feeling as though they strolling in familiar musical history, yet simultaneously wading through a dense mire of uncharted territory. There’s nothing more terrifying than the unknown. GRAVE ROBBER is the one band that can hold your hand on a decidedly horrifying romp, leading you safely to the other side. Heed the call of GRAVE ROBBER. Die and escape the grave, or die eternally.
The band’s name (taken from a Petra song) references Jesus’ return as the true grave robber, when Christ’s followers we will be “raised as incorruptible, and we shall be changed” and “Death is swallowed up in victory.” (1 Cor 15:52, 54) While in church one evening, the message of Romans 6:11, which instructs to “reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God yet alive in Christ” was preached just prior to communion. This concept of being “dead” to sin and symbolically eating the flesh and drinking the blood, coupled with a passion to reach a people who are largely ignored by the church, sparked a flame in the hearts of the members of GRAVE ROBBER to begin this unique ministry.
