The aftermath of this catastrophe is still apparent, and to the present day the Japanese people are facing the impact of the events. The population of the affected area has not been able to completely return to their everyday live and the people are still grateful for our help.

1 Bob Catley’s Immortal – Audio Samples Available

Frontiers Records is pleased to announce the release of the brand new BOB CATLEY album “Immortal” on September 19th 2008.

Best known as the singer of British Rock legends MAGNUM, Bob CatleyGary Hughes, who also wrote and produced the two following records “Legends” and “Middle Earth”. started his solo career in 1998 with the release of the highly acclaimed album “The Tower” written and produced by TEN leader

Closing the chapter on the collaboration with Hughes, Bob Catley chose to pursue a heavier direction leaning more towards the sound of Rainbow and Dio with his latest releases “When Empires Burn” (with songs written by the other TEN member Paul Hodson) and “Spirit of Man” (with songs contributed by longtime Bob Catley band guitarist Vince O`Regan and another two British songwriters Dave Thompson and Paul Uttley).

For his brand new studio album Bob has again moved on and selected songs written on purpose by the Swedish axeman Magnus Karlsson (Primal Fear, Allen/Lande, Starbreaker). The album production and recording happened in Karlsruhe, Germany under the supervision of Pink Cream 69’s Dennis Ward (producer of Angra, House of Lords, Edenbridge, Sunstorm, Place Vendome etc) . Dennis cared for the bass and guitar parts, with drums handled by Dirk Bruineberg (Elegy) and keyboards provided by Karlsson himself. Magnus Karlsson plays lead guitars on “End of the World” and the other PC 69’s member Uwe Reitenauer also contributed with a few solos.

“Magnus and Dennis ward did a great job for me, I am really pleased with the way the new album has turned out and I hope everyone enjoys Immortal as much as I did”, says Bob.

“Immortal” is indeed the heaviest, most epic and still melodic Bob Catley release ever. Capturing the dramatic spirit of the music of Magnum and early Rainbow and melting it with the peculiar approach to songwriting coming from Karlsson, the music of “Immortal” is well portrayed in the cover art specifically designed for the album by long-time Magnum sleeve designer Rodney Matthews.

“Immortal” final tracklisting will include:

Dreamers Unite; We Are Immortal; End Of The World; Open Your Eyes;  The Searcher; One More Night; Light Up My Way; You Are My Star; War In Heaven; Win The Throne; Haunted; Heat Of Passion.

Bob Catley has recorded his ultimate album, just don’t miss the chance for this new masterpiece.

2 New Video – Avantasia – Lost In Space

Tobias Sammet

Tobias Sammet is back on track with AVANTASIA! After five years of Silence, the EDGUY mastermind decided to reanimate his very own project AVANTASIA and record a follow up to the highly appraised Metal Opera, that Tobi released in 2001 (Part 1) and 2002 (Part 2). For many people, this Metal Opera was the inofficial but worthy successor to Helloweens “Keeper Of The Seven Keys” Pt. 1 and Pt. 2.

His new project, the album “The Scarecrow” is maybe the most ambitious that Tobi ever touched. Just read the list of participants and your knees will tremble: Eric Singer from KISS on drums and vocals, Guest Vocals by Amanda Somverville, Jorn Lande, Alice Cooper, Michael Kiske, Bob Catley and Guest Guitar parts by Rudolf Schenker. A legendary combination!

As an appetizer, two EPs are on their way, before the album will crush the metal world in early 2008. “Lost In Space” is the title track of both EPs, but otherwise the content is completely different and exclusive. Except for one song and title track, none of them will appear on the “The Scarecrow”! Value for money – for sure!

“Lost In Space” is without doubt among the catchiest tunes, that you will get to hear in 2007! A good time rock´n´roll song with a chorus as huge as two continets. Impressive – after the first spin, you will never ever get this song out of your head. And thats good!

With this new era of AVANTASIA, Tobi offers everything from Hard Rock, Stadium Rock, Rock´n´Roll, New Rock to Melodic metal and even Speed Metal – stuff to dream too, stuff to bang your head too.

AVANTASIA will prevail! No doubt about it.
