Armoury Records, in conjunction with Hamburg, Germany-based earMUSIC, will release the sixth studio album from American metallers CIRCLE II CIRCLE this Winter. Led by former Savatage vocalist Zak Stevens, the 12-track Seasons Will Fall promises to be the band’s strongest album to date both musically and sonically blending Stevens’ history and unique “Savatage style” with the fresh sounds he’s meticulously developed with CIIC — a commanding fusion of metal and hard rock, powered by his passionate melodic rock vocals. From the howling guitar riffs of “Diamond Blade” and “Killing Death” to the energetic sound of “Never Gonna Stop,” the album contains everything you want from a heavy rock album.
earMUSIC/Edel and Zak Stevens have enjoyed critical acclaim and commercial success together over the years with Savatage’s Dead Winter Dead (1995) and The Wake of Magellan (1997), true milestones of hard rock/heavy metal and some of the highest charting metal success stories of the ‘90s.
Comments Stevens of the new label home and forthcoming full-length: “With earMUSIC releasing our sixth album, we are exactly where we need to be at this point in our career. We have the right album along with a fantastic new label. The timing of all this will take the upcoming world tour to an entirely new level. We are very much looking forward to the release of Seasons Will Fall. This is an album that will strongly define the identity and place of hard rock and heavy metal music in the world today.”
Formed in 2001, CIRCLE II CIRCLE has released five albums to date consistently progressing into something more powerful with each offering without sacrificing the signature sound fans around the globe have grown to adore. The turning point for CIIC came in 2012 with their monumental performance of The Wake of Magellan in its entirety at Germany’s legendary Wacken Open Air Festival. What followed was a sold-out European club tour with full European jaunt set to follow in 2013.
Seasons Will Fall will be released in North America via Armoury Records on January 29, 2013.

0 Circle II Circle To Release Consequence of Power This Fall

  • April 10, 2010
  • by Rob Rockitt
  • · Entertainment · Hard Rock Music · Hard Rock News · Music

CIRCLE II CIRCLE, led by former front man of SAVATAGE, Zak Stevens, has begun laying down tracks at Sweet Spot Studios for the recording of it’s 5th album entitled CONSEQUENCE OF POWER. The second concept album for the band, CONSEQUENCE OF POWER has been described as “a melodic power metal album catering to all fans from the old SAVATAGE era to all CIRCLE II CIRCLE European fans and breaking new ground for an all new fan base in America.” The release is expected for Fall of 2010 through AFM Records.
According to Stevens “It’s been a hell of a ride so far, but it seems like just the beginning for some reason. People are really appreciating the purity of real hard rock & metal music these days since the genre became somewhat out of focus within the music industry the last five years. The demand for our style of music has roared back, from fans both young and old, on the history behind the band. We hear the calling and we continue to move forward. CIRCLE II CIRCLE will take you on a musical journey like no other rock/metal band. We will deliver a monumental evening of rock and roll power every night on tour. Don’t miss it!”
The band’s line up consists of, Zak Stevens (vocals), Andy Lee (guitar), Mitch Stewart (bass/keyboards) and new drummer, Johnny Osborn, formerly of DR BUTCHER.
CIRCLE II CIRCLE recently signed a management deal with VENOMM and is currently booking for the POWER TOUR 2010/2011 due to begin this summer.
