THE NYC GUITAR-DRIVEN, ANTHEMIC ROCK BAND KICKS OFF NEW TOUR WITH ESCAPE THE FATE AND NEW YEAR’S DAY ON FEBRUARY 15 IN FRESNO

NEW SINGLE “IMMORTAL” OFF CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED ALBUM LOCKED & LOADED CURRENTLY #24 AT ACTIVE ROCK & RISING

“Immortal” Music Video Directed By Davo Gains Early Spike With “Sixx Sense with Nikki Sixx” World Premier

NYC guitar-driven, anthemic rock band EVE TO ADAM announces new tour with ESCAPE THE FATE and NEW YEAR’S DAY kicking off February 15 in Fresno, fresh off the heels of their last 13-date tour with POP EVIL  Widely regarded as one of the hardest working bands on the Modern Rock circuit, EVE TO ADAM are flying high with the success of new single “IMMORTAL” hitting #24 at Active Rock and rising, along with new critically acclaimed album LOCKED & LOADED, which is receiving some of the best reviews of the band’s career.  KNAC ranks LOCKED & LOADED as one of the best Hard Rock albums of 2014 and Examiner ranks it at #2.

“IMMORTAL,”  which was co-written and produced by Dave Bassett (Halestorm, Shinedown), hit #1 at Octane (SiriusXM) generating heavy phones, and was featured on iTunes’ New & Noteworthy.  “IMMORTAL” is a larger-than-life, cinematic anthem that pays tribute to heroic legacies. The track is impacting out-of-the-box with radio and the fans going hard for this single.

The “Immortal” music video, directed by Davo and shot at the beautiful and historic Loews Theater Journal Square in Jersey City, received an early spike by Nikki Sixx, with a world premiere at Sixx Sense With Nikki Sixx.  The eloquently shot live performance video catches Eve To Adam in one of their most authentic moments, giving fans the feeling of being front-row-and-center at a live concert.

The single first premiered on Artist Direct, who says“The song is a grungey, dark, moody track. We love it. You will, too.”

New Transcendence says: “New York’s Eve To Adam has found a way to stay fresh in a scene that has been overrun with mediocrity.”

Screamer says: “If you are a fan of melodic, indie-style hard rock (sorry, no growler vocals or slick, corporate rock here) you need to get this album.  As in, right now…”

For Locked & Loaded the band enlisted top notch writer/producers, who in addition to Dave Bassett, who was also involved in Halestorm’s GRAMMY-win for “Best Hard Rock Performance” as co-writer of “Love Bites (So Do I)”, includes Eric Bass (Shinedown) and Elvis Baskette (Incubus, Falling In Reverse, Alter Bridge).

Eve To Adam, who count legendary, GRAMMY-winning songwriter Desmond Child (Aerosmith, Katy Perry, KISS, Bon Jovi) is an early mentor, are clearly upping their game.  As an arena and stadium level act positioned for global recognition, the band has performed sold-out tours with Motley Crue, In This Moment, Chevelle, POD, Hinder and Halestorm among others, and have played all of the major festivals including Rocklahoma, Rock On The Range and Jagermeister Presents Tour among others. The band’s live show has become their signature cornerstone.

The current line-up of Eve To Adam is: Taki Sassaris (frontman/vocalist); Gaurav Bali (lead guitar); Alex Sassaris (drums); Luis Espaillat (bassist/backing vocalist) and Adam Latiff (formerly with Puddle of Mudd) is the newest member, as rhythm guitarist/backing vocalist.

EVE TO ADAM is booked by Tim Borror of The Agency Group and managed by George Zoitas and Ian Joskowitz of Three For Five Entertainment Group.

12 Alice Cooper – Welcome 2 My Nightmare (2011)

Some things get better with age. With Vincent Furnier aka Alice Cooper (who turned 63 in February) this is truly the case. With Alice Cooper’s latest effort, Welcome 2 My Nightmare, Alice has turned in one of his most creative pieces of work yet.

Producer Bob Ezrin came up with the idea for Alice to do the sequel to Welcome to My Nightmare.  I don’t know if anyone could have guessed what Alice would come up with after that. Alice Cooper brought in several of his old bandmates including Michael Bruce,  Dennis Dunaway, Neal Smith, Steve Hunter, and Dick Wagner, as well as a cast of many others to help create a brand new nightmare, which to my ears is one Alice Cooper’s finest works to date.

Welcome 2 My Nightmare somehow manages to recapture that classic 70’s sound of the original, without sounding dated.  Welcome 2 My Nightmare incorporates the sounds of classic and hard rock, and little bit of disco.  It is hard to compare it to the monsterous album Welcome to My Nightmare, which spawned such great songs like “Cold Ethyl”, “Only Women Bleed” and “Welcome to My Nightmare”. You won’t find Vincent Price (God rest his soul) narratives on Welcome 2 My Nightmare either, but you are going to find a whole bunch of new tunes that you will be sure to love.

There are several songs on Welcome 2 My Nightmare which could easily be worked in to Alice’s live set for years to come.  This album is so strong that he could probably do a tour playing the entire album live.  The album isn’t perfect, but it is pretty close to it.  I could have lived without the  auto tune effect on Alice’s vocals on the opening cut “I Am Made of You”.  Luckily, this is the only song plagued by that ill-used effect. (Note: To all artists and producers of rock music, Auto Tune is NEVER ok to use in rock music; No one wants to hear that crap.)  “I Am Made To You” is a pretty strong opener, and a really good song.  Bob Ezrin should have known better than to use those effects in my opinion.

While Alice Cooper’s previous effort Along Came a Spider was an outstanding effort, it pales in comparison to the creative and enthusiastic offering Welcome 2 My Nightmare from the Alice Cooper and company. There are many classic moments, and too many cool tunes to mention on this CD.  Some of my favorites are the catchy “Caffeine”, to the Vaudeville fun of “Last Man on Earth”, and the cool rocker “I’ll Bit Your Face Off”.  I will be playing this one a ton for years to come.

Voting is now closed, throw away your unused ballots, Welcome 2 My Nightmare will be the easy choice for album of the year in 2011.  Highly Recommended!
