What songs/videos defined 2006? When I started looking back at the humble beginnings of Hard Rock Hideout, one band kept coming to mind, and that was Black Stone Cherry. BSC released their self titled debut in 2006, and their first video “Lonely Train” was a real eye opener. With so many new bands trying to sound like the next Nickelback, Black Stone Cherry stepped out of the shadows to put out a killer CD that still gets a lot of play by this listener to this day.

Back in 2006, Black Stone Cherry unleashed their debut single “Lonely Train” on the world. This song is still a favorite of mine. The video is definitely worth another look.
