On February 1st, PUSHKING will be releasing The World As We Love It, the Russian band’s star-studded new album. The first video from the project, “It’ll Be OK,” also features ZZ Top’s Billy F. Gibbons and Extreme axeman Nuno Bettencourt. The Fabrizio Grossi directed clip finds Pushking vocalist Konstantin “Koha” Shustarev trading verses with Gibbons, while Bettencourt lays down one of his signature guitar solos towards the end of the track. The World As We Love It also includes guest appearances from Paul Stanley (Kiss), Steve Vai, Udo Dirkschneider (Accept), Steve Lukather (Toto), among many others. 0 Pushking to Release Star Studded Disc
According to Deucenews, Paul Stanley (KISS), Alice Cooper, Jorn Lande, Graham Bonnet (RAINBOW, ALCATRAZZ, MSG), Glenn Hughes (DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH), Joe Lynn Turner (RAINBOW, DEEP PURPLE) and Ian Gillan (DEEP PURPLE) are among the guest musicians who will appear on the forthcoming album from Rusian rockers PUSHKING, to be released before the end of the year.
PUSHKING is said to be one of Russia’s most popular metal/rock bands, and has released over 15 albums. The band’s new CD, “Pushking – Duets”, will contain 19 songs covering PUSHKING’s entire discography since 1996 and featuring contributions from some of “the greatest vocalists and musicians” from the world rock scene.
