3 Video Showdown #19 – SNEW VS. Rhino Bucket
In 2010, SNEW released their sophomore effort, We Do What We Want. The title track “We Do What We Want” reminds me a lot of the classic Rhino Bucket song, “One Night Stand” from 1990. I like both bands, and both songs, but only can win. Which song & video do you like better? Watch both videos and decide with your vote below!
SNEW – “We Do What We Want”
Rhino Bucket – “One Night Stand”
0 Video Showdown #15 – Buckcherry vs. Hinder
In 2008, Hinder recorded a cover of the Steppenwolf classic, “Born To Be Wild” for TNT and NASCAR. In 2009, Buckcherry takes off where Hinder left off, by covering Deep Purple’s “Highway Star”. I thought both bands did a decent job but only one of these is clearly a winner

Before there was Black Label Society, Zakk Wylde had a southern rock/metal band called Pride & Glory.

6 Video Showdown # 8 Primal Fear vs. Judas Priest
This week its Primal Fear vs. Judas Priest in the battle of video supremacy. You decide who wins!
In 2007, Primal Fear released a pretty good metal CD called New Religion. Primal Fear singer Ralf Scheepers could easily be a stand in for Rob Halford from Judas Priest. In fact Scheepers tried out for the lead role in Judas Priest, that eventually went to Tim “Ripper” Owens back in 1996.
Here is Primal Fear’s Video “Sign of Fear”.
Judas Priest released their new CD, Nostradamus in 2008. The new disc has had a lot of mixed reviews this year. Judas Priest has released a video called “War” in support of the album.
Here is Judas Priest’s Video “War”.

11 Video Showdown # 5 Metallica vs. Megadeth
This week’s Video Showdown puts Metallica’s St. Anger Video, against Megadeth’s A Tout La Monde. Both videos are the last videos made by either band. St. Anger is from the album of the same name from 2003.
A Tout La Monde is the updated version that can be found on the Megadeth album United Abominations from 2007.
Their has always been some strife between the two bands, as Metallica fired Dave Mustaine years ago. As both bands has grown, I think Megadeth has become more consistent than the band he once got his start in.
