“Shitload Of Money,” the new video featuring the bright lights of Las Vegas (aka “Sin City”), Nevada and Finnish wolf pack SONATA ARCTICA, is now available
The video was made by the Finnish production company Optipari Ltd.
In his interview with Blistering.com, lead singer Tony Kakko shared some information about the song:
“[Y]ou cannot sell something you cannot buy back. A lot of people, especially on Facebook and other social media – and they should consider this! – they are putting their face and privacy out there and you can’t get it back.”
The track comes from SONATA ARCTICA’s latest album, Stones Grow Her Name, which debuted at #9 on the English rock album charts and achieved Gold status in SONATA’s native country for the ninth Finnish Gold disc of their career.
The Cult premiere their new film clip for the track, “Honey From A Knife” on VEVO today. “Honey From A Knife” is the latest single from The Cult’s critically acclaimed new album, Choice of Weapon.
Directed by Rick Rodgers and produced by The Cult’s Ian Astbury and NYC based film company Mechanizedmules, the “Honey From A Knife” film clip was shot on location in the Washington Heights nieghborhood of Manhattan on a RED Scarlet camera with Super Speed lenses provided by ARRI.
“Honey From A Knife,“ rooted in the seductiveness of addiction, was inspired by the following Buddhist precept, and Ian Astbury states that the accompanying film reveals a “desperate descent into a fractured psyche”:
“Wealth and beauty, to a man who will not relinquish them, are like a knife covered with honey which, even before he has had the pleasure of eating the honey, cuts the tongue of the child that licks it”.

Nickelback has released a brand new video clip for their song “Trying Not To Love You”. The video stars Jason Alexander and Brooke Burns. Check it out below!
In this Moment is a band that I believe has potential to be a major force in the heavy metal world. The band has been on the cusp of being the next big metal band. The band has a very strong fan base, and I have always felt that they need one more successful album to push them up the METAL ladder. If their latest album Blood doesn’t get them there, it is going to take them a little bit closer.
Maria Brink is a super talented vocalist, and on Blood, her vocals takes the music of In this Moment to new heights. Blood is easily the band’s most creative output to date. The band is stretching its wings past its metalcore roots. I hear a lot of different musical elements and influences in the music, including Slipknot, Five Finger Death Punch, and maybe even a little bit of Nine Inch Nails. Many of the songs sound very mainstream radio ready, but this isn’t paint-by-numbers metal.
There are songs on Blood where Maria Brink’s voice seem to come from the depths of hell, and on others, she delights the auditory senses with her uncanny vocal ability. This is the first album without In the Moment founders Jeff Fabb and Blake Bunzel. I thought In This Moment’s sound might suffer from a shift in the lineup, but quite frankly the addition of Randy Weitzel, Travis Johnson, and Tom Hane have been an upgrade to In This Moment’s sound. Chris Howarth’s blazing guitars are still very present in Blood, but don’t expect a face melting solo in every song.
It took me a few spins to truly get into Blood, but I seem to like this album more with every listen. Some of the stand out tracks include “Adrenalize”, “You’re Gonna Listen”, the hit worthy “From the Ashes” and “The Blood Legion”. I am not a fan of the effects packed into the first single and title track “Blood”. I think this is a much better song live than the version that is on the album.
Overall, Blood is a very interesting and creative album from In This Moment. It isn’t a perfect album by any means, but it is entertaining, and that is why I listen to music.

I have been a fan of Irish rockers Million Dollar Reload since I first heard their debut album, Anthems for a Degeneration four long years ago! Their debut album was killer, and their latest effort, A Sinner’s Saint is no sophomore slump by any means.
I have described Million Dollar Reload in the past as a cross between Buckcherry and AC/DC, and their sound is still very much the same, and I couldn’t be happier. Phil Conalane is a tremendous vocalist, and it is his vocals that really make Million Dollar Reload’s music a step above so many other bands in this vein.
The opening cuts “Fight The System” and “Bullets in the Sky” deliver that one, two punch that will make you listen to the rest of
A Sinner’s Saint to see what other gems the band has in store for you. The album has plenty of more cool cuts that you will definitely want to check out.
The song “Broken” is a slower tune that ought to be a massive hit for the band. “I Am The Rapture”, “Smoke ‘N Mirrors” and “Headrush” are also amongst my favorites. There really isn’t a bad song in the bunch. All of the songs on “A Sinner’s Saint” would sound great in a live setting. I am hopeful that “A Sinner’s Saint” will bring Million Dollar Reload back to the U.S. to tour. Until then, I will be cranking up this CD, and you should be too!
If you like straight forward classic rock, you are going to love A Sinner’s Saint. Check it out!
You can purchase A Sinner’s Saint from Amazon.com. I highly recommend it!

“Raise Your Fist In The Air,” the new video from The Queen of Metal, DORO PESCH, premiered last week in front of 75,000 metalheads at the Wacken Open Air festival in Germany, and is now available for viewing below.
The song comes off DORO’s EP of the same name, which is now available digitally on iTunes.
Most fans know that New York is DORO’s second home. However, the “Raise Your Fist In The Air” video wasn’t filmed in flashy Times Square; it was shot in The Bronx. “For Manhattan,” DORO explains, “we would have needed permissions to film for each and every street corner — in the Bronx, nobody cares.”
While police didn’t care, the video shoot didn’t go unobserved.
“We purposely trudged around the most rundown quarters in our video truck,” DORO elaborates. “The gangs that hung around there were watching every step of ours suspiciously. We felt anything but safe. I explained to the guys who we were and that ‘Raise Your Fist’ can be considered quite a critical song that names and shames the constantly growing injustice in the world.”
When DORO offered gang members and homeless individuals the opportunity to appear in the video, the tense atmosphere was quickly infused with sheer enthusiasm.
“That was the best thing we could have done,” DORO reports happily. “The video came out absolutely great… and the parts with the people from the Bronx are the ones I like most.”
Raise Your Fist In The Air EP Track Listing:
1. Raise Your Fist
4. Lève Ton Poing Vers Le Ciel (French version of “Raise Your Fist In The Air”)
Of her Raise Your Fist full-length album — which will be released this Fall — DORO states: “I’ve put all my passion, blood, sweat, and tears into my first record for Nuclear Blast.”

Check out The Last Vegas’ brand new video “Evil Eyes”, as well as “The Other Side” and “Apologize” below.
“Evil Eyes” was produced and directed by the Chicago-based Motion Source Video Solutions (www.motionsource.net). Of the song and corresponding video, The Last Vegas frontman Chad Cherry commented, “We wanted to write a tune that people would want to rock out to, feel sexy and dance to…but in reality, the song’s message is creepy as hell. It’s about stalking people, watching them in their private and personal environment behind closed doors doing things they wouldn’t do in front of people…but someone is in the shadows watching all. Maybe that IS actually sexy, voyeurism and obsession.”
“Evil Eyes” will be on the new album BAD DECISIONS.
BAD DECISIONS is set for a North American street date of August 28th via FrostByte Media. Produced by Johnny K (Megadeth, Disturbed, 3 Doors Down, Airbourne), the album was recorded in the band’s hometown of Chicago and contains the straight-up rock n’ roll meets garage/punk rock sound for which the band has come to be known.

Nickelback is certainly one of those bands that some fans love to hate. I am not a hater by any means. They always deliver every time I see them live, and it was their live show that made me a fan. I didn’t think their latest album Here and Now was their best, but I did like the song “This Means War”. Check it out in the video clip below!

What can I say about George Lynch that hasn’t been said before? I am a huge fan, and it is always a big thrill for me to see him play live. The last time I saw Lynch Mob was in Columbus, Ohio in the summer of 2011. The band had a different line up at the time, and quite frankly, didn’t give the best of performances. This was not the case at M3!
At the M3 Rock Festival, Oni Logan was back in the band, along with Robbie Crane on bass and Scott Coogan on drums. I don’t know
what it is, but when Oni is singing with George, Lynch Mob can do no wrong in my opinion. Lynch was on fire at M3, and Oni Logan’s vocals were spot on perfect. Robbie Crane has been a great addition to the band since joining them last year. He does a great job on bass, and helps out with the background vocals too. Scott Coogan didn’t miss a beat.
Most of the songs in the set were from the Lynch Mob debut album. The set list consisted of “She’s Evil But She’s Mine”, “River of Love”
“Mr. Scary”, “Where Do You Sleep at Night?”, “Sweet Sister Mercy” and “Wicked Sensation”.
Lynch Mob was one of the best two acts on the side stage at M3 in 2012. I hope they return, and hopefully will get a chance to play a longer
set on the main stage next year.
