Lordi - The ArockalypseI hesitated picking up the latest disc by Lordi, but I could not pass up the horror theme of this band. I heard about all of the special guests on this disc (Dee Snider, and Jay Jay French from Twisted Sister, Bruce Kullick from KISS, and Udo Dirkschneider from Accept) and I decided that I had to give this one a try. If you can get over the vocals by Lordi, which sounds like a cross between Rob Zombie and Mandy Lion from WWIII, then you may like this disc.

The music is actually quite good on this disc, and there are several stand out tracks including Deadite Girls Gone Wild, Who’s Your Daddy, Chainsaw Buffet, and Hard Rock Halleujah.

I found a bunch of videos for this disc, so I will let the music do the talking for me. If you like good melodic heavy metal. Check this disc out!

I was so happy when they won the EUROSONG FESTIVAL last year. I even voted for it, twice by phone. Anyway, this is a great album and my fave by the band. Cool to have UDO on one song. GREAT ALBUM FOR ANY HARD ROCK AND HEAVY METAL LOVERS.
