Foreigner – Extended Versions (Live) Release Year – 2005
In case you haven’t heard, Foreigner will be joining Styx and Def Leppard on select dates on their upcoming tour that starts in the Queen City, Cincinnati, Ohio.
What you may not know, is the current lineup that Foreigner guitarist Mick Jones has put together, is a supergroup of Hard Rock Veterans, including Kelly Hanson (Hurricane) on vocals, Jason Bonham (Bonham) on drums, and Jeff Pilson (Dokken) on bass.
I had to do some digging and found that they did release a live album with this lineup. Amazingly, you can find this CD in the discounted CD sections at Walmart and Best Buy for a mere $6.00.
How do they sound? Amazing! Just what you would expect from a lineup this great! Kelly Hanson handles the songs like a pro, and sounds very close to former Foreigner vocalist Lou Gramm.
Die hard Foreigner fans may hate the changes, but personally, I think this is an enhancement over the original band. I hope that they will do a studio disc with this lineup.
The songs in this live collection, need no introduction, they are all great Foreigner classics. Take a look at the videos and judge for yourself.

Like many others fans of the classical foreigner band I disagreed completely with the new line-up that the “Mick Joke” has done to the “band”. On the other hand the new album released 5 months ago sucks. Sorry for you my friend but when someone wants to sell something wont talk bad things even if the castle is going down.
This is so weird…I just bought this disc last weekend out of the used bin at my local CD store…scored the album for 3 bucks!
